Well, this is the first not badly beaten Prime I have done. Straight up repaint. Enamels and a couple of acrylics.

    Blue LED in the head
    Articulated hands
Metallic red and blue base coats
hood fade was neon orange/metallic red/copper mix with a candy orange over that.

pinstriped flames(by the way, I ordered a set from Frenzy-Rumble, and if you have the time and patience, they are worth it.
    cleared
    bigger stacks
    chrome parts with alclad/alsa
I have tried to capture all the details including a dirty windshield.

I will be adding light up blades, guns, and some other special details, including an add on fit for a leader.......class:)  I also have a few touch up spots that need attention.

What is you opinion, black background or white? I am testing some stuff.

I am glad for pics. Just realized I need to outline the door with chrome and clean up something else:)

bro, looking at your prime, you can!! just get an airbrush and it will take away that brush stroke problem.

I kinda thought of that, but since Prime is the only custom I wish to make (so far) I'd rather not, and I'm trying to keep the costs to a minimum

Looks great ecline, but I'm curious, where is the purple pearl you used?! I don't see anything purple on this thing.

noticed u've made some mods to the rib cage, really nice
one question, the pipes on the shoulders are made of soft plastic, are they replaceable with hard plastic, coz i dont know if the paint will stick or not

You know, that is another Prime I got waiting to be finished.. ahah, my bad. But it has purple pearl over the blue! You will see that soon.
It is easy, the stacks are plastruct 1/4" 6mm tube cut at angles at the top and notched on the sides for it to slide over the original, glue and you're good!!!! Well, you gotta paint the white plastic!

looks great as usual bro. i love your colors.

i finally jumped on the band wagon and went out last night and bought this $50.00 sucker. I'm almost finished with him, and damn he is a pain in the but. my airbrush is out of commission, so everything is done with spray paints, :(

u say 1/4" 6mm tube? where did u get the tubing? i went out to lowes tonight and didn't find anything. i'm looking for something to slide over the rubber smokestacks.

u have a prime/jetfire coming up anytime soon?

Ummmmm... we will see Sunday after 9:00

Man! Where have you been? I feel like I haven't seen you in a while.

The tube you can get from HOBBYTOWN or another place that sells styrene.

YOU ARE ALMOST DONE USING SPRAY PAINT!!!! MAN!!! YOU MUST NOT EVEN EAT!!! I have taken days on this stupid thing:)  This is by far my favorite figure....besides MASTERPIECE Grimmy. Especially when I go all LED and battle damaged(that will be for my small collection though)

Nice touch adding chains to the truck and toes to the Powerup mode. The flames look a million times better than the ones he came with. :)

I think the smokestacks are a tad too big/long, but that's just me.

    Fantastic work!

Painting is gorgeous. Light up swords are great. The overall attention to detail is fantastic.

I love this super clean look.

I think the new stacks are a little off, too.

    Awesome custom!

What did you change/spray the blade with?
How does it "grow" in dark?
    Really fascinating work :)
