I just thought of another twisted puzzle Jigsaw could put on in a future Saw reboot: Watch Alien Covenant, or The Mummy, or Nostalgia Critic. No matter what, you won't win. What's ironic is that while he complains about the films being the same and predictable, he's not much different.
Nah man, he used to not make an overly pretentious monologue in his old videos, now he does. He's clearly improved as a """"""critic"""""
Anyone else watching that TGWTG series on youtube? Linkara's was pretty... interesting. Spoony's was just depressing.
It's a new one on Youtube. He does one once a month. Most of it isn't really revealing, but I never knew Linkara felt... that way... about the Green M&M.
I swore I wouldn't watch any more Channel Awful But I ended up watching this ep.... and like Cinema Sins he's just nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking.
Difference is that CinemaSins is clearly not meant to be taken seriously; while NC seems to want to be taken seriously but fails terribly at doing so. I haven't actually seen that episode, and I don't plan to either. Though on a positive note, this week's episode is on a movie that actually deserves it: Norm of the North – Nostalgia Critic
Because according to him it's based on a nostalgic property. For example Jurassic World is recent, but it's part of Jurassic Part which in itself a nostalgic property. Same thing with Ghostbusters, Star Wars and comic book movies. And dare I say, he's not wrong about feeling nostalgic for going to see a movie in theaters. Hell, I feel nostalgic remembering seeing Godzilla 2014 on the big screen and that's not that old yet.
That pretty much sums up my thoughts on the movie too. However, I do appreciate that it was trying to explore the psychology of the Hulk. I mean this is before Dark Knight, Winter Soldier, and Logan, so I have to give it credit for that even though the result wasn't that good.
I don't understand why I keep clicking on this guy's reviews. Somehow I keep forgetting how annoying they are.
