Thinkgeek still has a ton of trypticons as of yesterday

 

Ok. Walmart in Louisburg, all Marvel Legends are $9. They had the complete Sandman wave. All Leader class Tformers were $19. All they had left was Soundwave. Pretty much the whole aisle was clearanced.

Walmart in WF. Just bought the Voyager Megs. Left one of him and a Hound behind.

 

toys r us concord had a big restock. they had 2 trypticons, 5 mp 10s, 2 or 3 each of leader tlk optimus and megs and a few voyager megs and at least one voyager hound. they had a good mix of wave 4 tlk deluxes too and a couple primuses but no mpm bumblebees as of yet. I grabbed one each of trypticon, voyager megatron and hound. They also had sixshot, skyshadow, the RID combiners, ex sqweeks and those USB guys.

 

Whats up N.Carolina! Am comn dwn to Nags Head for vaca on sat. Are there any cool transformers stores or somewhere thats sells stuff, to check out?

 

So, a buddy of mine is saying he saw a post (I guess on Facebook) that somebody in Grandy, NC found Trypticon at Ollie's for $49.99...

Anybody else spotted that?

Triangle town tru has tlk leader megatron and two trypticons, triangletown walmart has tlk voyager megatron and hound

While the OBX are an awesome vacation spot full of great sand and surf and food and natural beauty, there is only a Kmart and a walmart there and they are usually months behind in product. But go to captian George's buffet, they have fried soft shells on the buffet this season! (Had to fix this post lol)

I checked out the source...it's on the Legions of Transformers Facebook page...guy has a pic of himself standing outside Ollie's with Trypticon in hand, and he provided a receipt as proof. A second person also claimed to have found one. It's definitely weird, but it seems credible...

Maybe it's part of their Christmas toy selection and it got put out early? I dunno...


Edit: Well, I went back through the comment thread and someone else demonstrated how easy it is to Photoshop the receipt convincingly, so perhaps this person is running an elaborate troll on TF fans  

But...we all know it'll probably hit the discount stores eventually...

 

At Tru North Raleigh and they have one tryptocon left and a mp-10.

Hard to choose but I rather have a takara mp-10.

Saw a set (OP/Megs) over at Durham TRU on Thursday. Not sure if both are still there.

 

Wakeforest target has a couple of the optimus, soundwave activators

 

No sign of mpm bumblebee and all the megatron voyagers and leaders and voyager hounds seem to be gone at concord TRU

 

I picked up the one at Raleigh TRU this morning.
