Batman Artist Norm Breyfogle Died on Monday, Aged 58 - Bleeding Cool News And Rumors
Rip, I remember his Batman run fondly from the 90's.
He never really recovered from that stroke.
RIP. I really enjoyed his Prime run.
This is awful news. Maybe it's the sitting at a drawing board all day lifestyle, but comic artists die young.
Breyfogle is one of the greatest Batman artists of all-time and a true original. When the entire industry was going one direction, he said F that and did things his own way. This is a huge loss for comics fandom.
Condolences to his family and friends.
He was the artist that originally added the shoulder tips to batman's cape, right?
RIP. Batman artist I remember most fondly....
May his soul rest in peace. He was a fantastic artist.

Comic Legends: When Norm Breyfogle Sold Marvel a Batman Comic Story
Al Milgrom knew what was up. One of the best editors Marvel ever had. Archie Goodwin-level.
My Batman artist. Been re-reading his Detective run the last few days. RIP
I may be wrong but I think McFarlane did that first. That said losing Breyfogle is a huge blow, I’ll always remember him and Jim Aparo as my favorite Batman artists growing up.
Breyfogle is one of my all-time favorite Batman artists. Sorry to hear this news.
One of my favorite Batman artists ever. In the top three, at least.
He's probably my #4, but that's still an insanely high number for a character that's been around 80 years. There have literally been hundreds of artists.
Sad news. My favorite Batman artist ever.
