So, I had to do a "fantasy" story for one of my classes, and being that I had just finished watching GaoGaiGar a week ago, I thought i'd do a prequel. Y'know, fill in the blanks and put in some detail. It was supposed to be around 1500 words, but I wound up making it 2411. Thought I'd share it here while I was at it. So without further ado... GaoGaiGar Prequel Story: the Trinary Solar System’s Collapse Long, long ago there existed three planets that formed the Trinary Solar System. The Purple planet led by a man called Pasder, the Green planet led by a man by the name of Cain, and the Red planet led by a woman named Abel. This is the story of the destruction of the Trinary solar System and what was to be the birth of the King of Braves. (Note: The characters on the three planets can use special abilities, such as being able to live in space with no air for extended periods of time, fire non-lethal beams of light from their hands and growing wings of light to fly)
Chapter 1 “Birth” The story begins on the Purple planet, where a child that will change the universe has just been born. The child, named Zon, is well treated by his parents for the first ten years of his life. His mother made him fresh meals for school every day and his father help him with his studies and anything else he may need. However, when he reached the age of eleven in his sixth year of schooling his mother passed away due to stress overload at her work. After his mother’s death, his father began drinking and became addicted to alcohol. He had to make his own meals every day and was never given any guidance or help from his father. Due to the amount of stress that alcohol put on his father, his father was forced to release stress by beating Zon, his only son at least once a week. Zon was a child that forgave anything that his father did and had the patience of a boulder. He never retaliated once against his father because of this. The only one he told about his beatings was his best friend, Mura. One day, out of the blue, Mura snapped. He went to Zon’s house and confronted his father, who then beat him down. Mura tried to convince Zon to report it to the authorities but Zon said that even after all his father did to him, his father was innocent and did not deserve to be sent to prison. So Mura decided to obey Zon’s wish and his father was never reported to anybody. Years later, Zon and Mura graduated from their schooling and became scientists. They had come up with the idea to create a substance that relieves a person of all of a person’s stress, pressure, and negative feelings. With this Idea to help people in mind, they researched every available element known. They tested elements to their braking points, but no element was beneficial enough to relieve any stress from a person. Then one day, a fellow scientist interested in their project stumbled across an element that would be called Z0. Samples of element Z0 were given to Zon and Mura for research. It was almost perfect. With only a little more power, the element Z0 could completely eradicate all negative feeling from a person’s body. Another colleague asked them if they tried reprogramming the element. They had tried to alter the element, but that had not worked once. So they tried reprogramming it with the facilities super computer. It worked. By merging the element with a compatible metal and reprogramming it, they had created the first ever device to relieve negative feelings. They had created “Zonder metal”.
Chapter 2 “System” After the experiments success, they decided to patent and mass produce the Zonder metal. Within a month, Zon and Mura had a brand new factory with approximately 300 workers. Even with all this now, they still had not sold anything. But the issue was not that it wasn’t selling. They wanted to give one to Zon’s father before they put any on the market. So, they travelled to Zon’s old house and found his father drunk on the couch. They tried to give one to him, but he refused to accept one. After about two hours of arguing with his father, Zon and Mura went back to the factory and left the Zonder on his father’s living room table. Given up on Zon’s father they put the Zonder metal on the market. It was a massive hit. In less than one hour, they had sold 600 Zonder metals. After a while of thinking, Zon’s father was slightly proud of his son. He decided to give the Zonder metal a try after all the good things about Zon’s new stress relief product he had heard on the radio. A short while after attaching the Zonder metal to his forehead as the instructions stated to, he felt quite relieved. The less stress he had, the brighter the purple glow that the Zonder metal shone was. After about ten minutes, he felt no stress or pressure at all. However, when he went to take the Zonder metal off, he found that it could not be removed. It had fused to his head. All the years of drinking, sobbing, and beating his child had given him almost enough stress to kill him. It was just the right amount of stress for the Zonder metal program to overheat and cause the Zonder metal to fuse with him. And since the Zonder metal program was made with the technology of a super computer, it had started to adapt to the situation. His veins had morphed into wires and cables, his skin into a soft and durable metal. The mechanization had begun.
Chapter 3 “Rain” The master program kept locked up in the lab started to receive the information that the Zonder metal on Zon’s father sent. The entire Program had changed. It was now a program that could learn and adapt to its surroundings. Every person with a Zonder metal had morphed into a “Zonder monster”. No person with a Zonder metal had control of themselves. The Zonder monsters attacked and spread throughout cities, creating “Zonder metal plants” that produced more Zonder metal. Trying to get to the Master program, Zon and Mura were cornered in the factory by their own workers. Authorities equipped with the latest armour marched into the factory and recued Zon and Mura. They were told that the only safe place is the lab in which the master program is kept and that everything else on the planet will be nuked to destroy the Zonder monsters. They are transported to the lab and they meet the leader of the Purple planet, Pasder. In his hand is a small panel with a red button. He greets the scientists and tells them to prepare for the worst. Zon and Mura are desperately trying to reconfigure the master program, but it is useless. They come to the conclusion that slamming the entire infected planet with nuclear missiles. After shedding a tear Pasder forces himself to push the button. As the nuclear missiles are destroying cities and killing the few innocent lives left, Pasder loses himself. He starts yelling and screaming at Zon and Mura, who are sobbing by the master programs control panel. Pasder blames them for everything. The deaths of innocent lives, the reign of evil mechanized monsters, his wife killed by them, everything. As he pulls out his pistol to shoot Zon and Mura, the master program begins to glow an ominous purple. A Zonder metal is instantly created and turns Pasder into a Zonder monster. His pistol slides across the floor. Zon and Mura have only one choice. Suicide, or become a Zonder monster. Fearing what would become of their own creation, they chose suicide.
Chapter 4 “Second Try” Around the time of Zon’s birth, a certain child is born on the Green planet. This child is the child that will bring hope to the Trinary Solar System. This child’s name is Cain. Like Zon, Cain was well kept by his parents. But Cain’s parents are not like Zon’s. They live until he is the age of 15. They do not die alone or because of sickness or age. They are killed by a burglar that has mistaken his target house. At this time, Cain graduates school and decides to become a scientist. And so he does. He spends days and days studying Mechanics and enrols in the Green planets most well-renowned technical studies laboratory. To do this though, he has to move halfway across the planet. During the move, he is attacked by a desperate burglar that steals from the cars of trains. By accident, Cain opens a cage in the train car he and the burglar are in, which happens to hold a lion. Just as the burglar is approaching Cain to stab him in the chest with a knife, the lion jumps out of the cage and mauls the train burglar thus saving Cain. He promises to himself that he will never forget that lion, even if its goal was not to save him. When he arrives at the technical studies laboratory, he is instantly approved a job in mechanics due to his intelligence in the subject. During the first month of the job he had wished for, he meets a beautiful woman the same age as him. They get along quite nicely and find themselves in love. About a month later, he spots something falling from the sky. Because of his curiosity he follows it until it lands in a nearby lake. He dives in and retrieves the unknown object to take it home and study it the next day.
Chapter 5 “A Glimmer of Hope” On the news that night, Cain hears that the Purple planet has gone quiet and is not responding to either the Green or Red planets governments. Thinking nothing of it he turns of the radio and goes to sleep. The next day, he rises early and finds that the object he retrieved last night has slightly changed its shape. He heads straight to the lab to find out what it is. His girlfriend, who is now engaged to him, worries that he might be digging into business that he does not belong in. Cain assures her that it’s only a piece of metal he found in a lake. Before he gets the chance to examine the object, his coworkers start to panic. Curious of the commotion he heads over to them to hear that the purple planet has been “taken over by aliens”. Doubting this, he turns on the television. On every channel is the news footage of the “aliens” on the purple planet. Still doubting, he squints and sees a Zonder metal plant in the corner of the shot. Thinking he’s seen something similar before, he takes the object he found out of his pocket. It was a partially destroyed piece of Zonder metal. Hurriedly, he gets to his microscope and computer to examine it. He discovers that it contains trace amounts of the new element Z0. However, it is unusable due to it not being advanced enough to survive atmospheric re-entry. After about an hour of examining the Zonder metal fragment, he believes that he can create a device that utilizes the powers of the Green planets people to counter the mechanization effect. The Green planets government has agreed to give Cain a top-security laboratory and hangar to create such a device. Meanwhile, there is news that Abel, the leader of the Red planet, is mass producing an army of warrior cyborgs called Soldats to command an armada of white ‘Ark’ battleships that are also being mass-produced. Hearing this news, Cain starts a second project that will utilize the new device to a greater effect.
Chapter 6 “G and J” A week after he started, Cain is now done the first of his two projects. A courage-powered anti-mechanization circuit called the G-stone. The G-stone has almost the same properties as the Zonder metal, but functions differently. Like the Zonder metal the G-stone can merge with a person’s body, but only those that have the power that certain people from the Green planet possess. Abel hears of this and copies the G-stone, while also converting it to something that the people of the Red planet can use. Abel mass-produces the G-stone’s counterpart, the “J-jewel”, and has it installed into each Soldat and Ark battleship. The Soldat division’s name is changed, so each Soldat is now a Soldat-J, and the Ark battleships are now J-arks. During this time, the Green and Red planets are 90% mechanized. Cain’s newly-wed wife has given birth to their son Latio only a day ago, and Abel has created an artificial child Arma, which have been fused with the G-stone and J-jewel respectively. Abel also produces a slightly more powerful G-stone, the “loud G-stone” which she implements into a program called the “11 Planetary Masters of Sol” made to reconstruct the Trinary Solar System if worse comes to worst. Cain finishes his second project, “Galeon”, a large robotic lion that is powered by a “GS-Ride” which he created using the G-stone. As his hangar is attacked by Zonder monsters, his wife is killed. He sends Galeon off with his day-old child into space, following wounded after fending off the Zonder monsters. On the Red planet, only Abel, a day-old Arma, Soldat-J 002 and a single J-ark remain.
Chapter 7 “New Future” Escaping the Zonder monster threat with their remaining comrades, Abel and Cain meet in space, both badly wounded. Abel hands Arma over to Soldat-J 002, and Cain creates and puts into galeon a copy of his personality so that he can ensure no harm comes to Latio. They agree to flee to the newly discovered Blue planet outside the Trinary Solar System, Earth. However, a mechanized spaceship carrying the Zonderized Pasder and many Zonder metals launches from the Purple planet. Knowing their chances, Cain and Abel tell Soldat-J 002 and Galeon to escape while they hold the spaceship off. Also aware of their chances, Soldat-J 002 hands Arma over to Galeon and stays behind, to fight as the warrior he is. Abel launches the 11 Planetary Masters of Sol system as she and Cain, along with Soldat-J002, take on the Zonder spaceship.
