With Universe Hot Shot, RtS Lugnut and Rotf Lockdown (I know people will argue this one for sure), I was wondering what other non G1 characters would people want to see in the classics lines? I for one would love to see quite a few Armada characters. Hotshots universe figure wasn't perfect, but it still seemed better than the original from what I hear.
I never got to get Hot Shot, but I'd like the Armada Seeker mold done in Generations. And BW Rhinox with Chainguns of DOOOOOOOOM!
That guy just needs a better toy in general. I have him, and theres no reason for him to be as much of a brick as he is.
Armada Sideswipe. Was just thinking yesterday that Energon Treadshot's head on a repainted Generations Windcharger would make a nice Scout version of him. The Robotmasters. Though technically they're probably G1/G2. Energon Prowl. A head remold on RM Mirage would be enough for me AND the mold has been used for a Prowl before. The RID Decepticons.
Add to that already bought over to Classic style... Side Burn and Skybyte. Blitzwing was G1, was he not? Or do you want a Animated inspired Classics toy? Anyways, I'd like to see Animated Bulkhead does less ROUND and cartoony.
I wouldn't mind if they started introducing sublines within classics to fill the shelves since the movie toys are gone. The first line would be Beast Wars, featuring: Maximals: Optimus Primal(original), Rhinox, Dinobot, Cheetor(transmetal), Rattrap, Airazor(transmetal), and Depth Charge. Predacons: Megatron(transmetal), Terrorsaur, Tarantulas(original), Blackarachnia(Transmetal 2), Waspinator, Inferno, and Quickstrike.
I think one of my "must haves" I'd really want is Armada Starscream. This was one of the best incarnations of the characters ever and his Armada toy, although good, could be done sooo much better. It'd be a terrific choice for a Classics slot. I am huge supporter in more Beast Wars figures in general. The two we recieved in the Universe line were somewhat half assed IMO. Dinobot was okay; Cheetor was a mess. My vote for the representative from Beast Wars would definitely be Rhinox. Give us more Beasties!
Armada and Beast Wars both really could use some more updated figures. a new Armada Starscream or Megatron could be incredible, I don't even care it they would have to be deluxes. Beast Wars Rhinox and Rattrap deserve new figures too.
RiD characters. Specifically, new versions of Super mode Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Sky-Byte, and a repaint of RTS G2 Prime into Scourge. Not sure how good the old versions of those toys are, but it would be cool to see nonetheless.
I don't see Optimus Prime or Magnus getting an update. Those figures are absolutely fantastic for being nearly 10 + years old. The repaint of RTS Prime into SCOURGE though ... hell yeah.
