Question: What happens if a comic is nominated for two categories? For example, both me and LegoTFGuy started our comics this year. What happens if someone nominates one of us for both best new comic and best funny comic?

Has anyone but T+C nominated? I'd nominate but despite reading the nomination process I do NOT understand it.  

 

It's really not THAT hard to nominate.

All you have to do is send Ironhide2005 a PM. In the PM, you need to include the following:

- Name of the comic you wish to nominate for Best Funny/Serious/New Comic
- Name of the comic's creator
- Images from a comic update that's from 2011

As how you go about getting the images from the comic, you just go to the comic thread, find a comic update from 2011 that you feel best represents the comic in your nomination, and then by clicking the "Quote" button, you copy the IMG tags and then paste them into the nomination PM.

And we can send in multiple nominations. By doing so, that increases the chances that the comics you want to win the awards will make it onto the poll.

There's a nomination guide here that I made, but basically all you need to do to nominate is:

1. send Ironhide2005 a PM titled 'Best Funny/Serious/New Comic' (depends which your nominating)

2. in the PM, you need to include the name of the comic you're nominating and the maker of the comic

3. include some broken [ /IMG] picture links from the comic you're nominating

4. if it's a new comic, it HAS to have been started in 2011

That's all there is to it, really.

And I have to echo what Autobus Prime and Myhobby said... don't expect other people to nominate your favorite comics. There were quite a few categories where the comics that some people expect to be on the poll didn't make it onto the poll, and people wondered why that was so... it was because they all assumed somebody else nominated those comics when in reality nobody did. Hence why we keep telling people, send in those nominations soon as you can and send in as many as you can to ensure your fave comics make it onto the polls.
