Yeah I saw with the exception of Clone Wars it's all original programing from cartoon network. A scary amount of live action shows too.

Well that pretty much confirms it for us.

Didn't Derek Wyatt mention something about having to cut all ties to season four due to it being canceled?

It could return in 2010, I suppose, but I highly doubt it.

You do realize that anything they'd want to make TF-wise would take a while and not even be ready by the end of 2009.

    Right?

Yeah, I read through that list on another website too and noticed no TFA. Oh well. There is something to be said for going out on top.

That is a ridiculously huge list of shows for Cartoon Network. I hope they can find a place for Transformers again in the future.
    Hmmmm, I disagree.

I refuse to believe that its been cancelled until Hasbro themselves comes out and officially says it right now it could be just a hiatus and could continue in 2010

Man this is a bummer but somewhat expected, good to have official confirmation. Looks like G.I. Joe Resolute wont be hitting CN anytime soon either (I know it's supposed to be a web-exclusive thing but so was CW at first I think)

After reading that there's gonna be a Hot Wheels show it made me think of a sweet TF series that could be race based like how Cybertron had the Race Planet. It could feature a ton of autobots and stunticons in Animated style so they could re-use the cars already made for TFA and make some new ones

Yeah, hopefully the Hasbro design team is already working on the next Transformers show foir 2010.

I hope it gets a better timeslot than 8am on Saturday and 6am weekdays though. Unfortunately, with the huge increase in original programming from Cartoon Network, I'm not sure how much time and money they'd want to invest in a property that they wouldn't own.

...did you just say Clone Wars was bad? It's one of the best things on TV today.

And while it is a shame Transformers is getting shafted...again (CN has a history of doing that) it does look like there will be some good new shows coming out. A giant robot show from Tartakovsky and a new action show from the guy behind the original Ben 10 are certainly promising, as their previous works were pretty damn good. And Total Drama Island was a surprisingly decent cartoon, with plenty of intelligent and crass humor all mixed together fairly nicely, so a new show like that should be great as well. And if you haven't seen the original Adventure Time short, I suggest looking it up on Youtube or something. It was brain-trippingly ridiculous, and in the end a really funny short. Though I don't know how long it could last as a full series.

Really, the only in-house cartoons on CN nowdays I can't stand are Flapjack and Secret Saturdays, otherwise they've had some pretty good stuff. However I knew from the start Transformers wouldn't get any love from that network, and really it hasn't gotten anything. Where most CN shows are replayed so much that you have them shoved down your throat daily, TFA only sees syndication at 6 am on weekdays with no real encore showings past the initial premiere weekend of a new episode. As far as I'm concerned, TFA could easily fit into CN's action block on fridays or whatever, but for some reason Transformers always gets snubbed.

After TF:A ends, I'm sticking to Spongebob until the next TF series.
