Didn't know what to name this thread.

I bet most here know there will be no Tf3 untill 2012, leaving us with a "Tf free year" in 2011. Really sad if you ask me.

I have an idea of a full CGI movie in the style of the "Monsters vs. Aliens" movie by Dreamworks.

If i had the money and the know-how i'd have done one myself...

Does anybody here know people @ Hasbro or Dreamworks or Paramount who can pull some strings so a full CGI Or animated movie see the light?

Could be a "Straight-to-DVD" kind of movie at least eg "Batman, Gotham Knight", but i bet a movie like this have the potential to do well @ the movies thanks to the live action movies TF1 and ROTF.

    What do you think?

No, please. I despise CGI, except when it is incorporated into real life, like TF, Iron Man, Star Wars, etc.

I still think Animated will resume again in 2010/11.

So you don't like movies such as: Finding Nemo, Kungfu Panda, TMNT etc?

Could be an animated movie even.

Hopefully they'll use that time to pick up on the 25th anniversary that didn't have much 25th anniversary stuff in it. haha Classics all the way! but I wouldn't be totally opposed to seeing a CG movie, if it at least had the graphics of the opening "cutscene" in the first game.

I can wait until 2012. I waited God knows how long for TF1, so TF3 being three years from now is perfectly fine by me.

I guess some people here really dislike the idea...

What about a stop animation movie using the classics line?

If you've seen "Jazz with a general problem" video clip you'll know how nice it can look.

I like them (well, 1/3 of them), just not the animation.

I doubt they'd do an all-CGI movie in between ROTF and TF 3. I can probably imagine they'll restart the Animated series after TF 3 is done and over with.

A full CGI movie would suck I hate movies that are 100% CGI!

They could hire Draven to make one, or finish Redemption as a feature length video. Just think what he could do if he didn't have to work at a mundane job instead.

Even if the animation looked really good on a full-CGI film, I'd worry the 'direct-to-DVD' stigma would mean crappy, half-assed random voice actors taking over for the ones from the film or something else hokey that would scream 'we did this on a limited budget; we had to cut corners somewhere.'

I'd rather see Animated return for a Season 4 and 5; for the movie-verse I'd rather see cool novels or more comics be made that due end up bridging the gap between the second and third films.
