that sucks, missed out on a good chance imo
C'mon, Bay! Give us a trailer! We're all dying here! The suspense is killing us!
Okay... maybe I'm exaggerating a little on the "suspense is killing us" part...
Trailer will probably be in November... before James Bond, maybe - or Madagascar 2 if they want to aim for the younger audience.
Harry Potter would have been the perfect choice (and I'm sure that's what the studio would have wanted), but that option is out the window now since the film got pushed back to next summer.
Didn't we already get word that a teaser would be around Thanksgiving?
Wha? I got to wait 'til Thanksgiving for a TF2 trailer?
Man, won't November come fast enough?
just the trailer is what's bugging you guys? i want to see ROBOTS! and toys! and the actual movie!!! i'm going insane!!!!!!
Now there's no reason for me to check Eagle eye.
fail Dreamworks fail...
well they're not exactly done filming and Bay's too busy to cut one up for us.
All we'll get if there is one is a Decepticon logo which fades to black and says Revenge is coming 2009, thats it.
And you'll be just as dissappointed if that was it as well. Think about it, the 2nd teaser from the first Transformers movie (you know that one that says "Some are here to protect/destroy us) came out in December 2006 and all the filming was long done and over with.
They can't make anything for us while they're still filming.
i just got back from seeing Eagle Eye and i say you should give it a watch
its a darn good movie IMO
Doesn't seem like there will be much reason for ANYONE to check out Eagle Eye. It's already getting ripped apart by critics, has come in second place for advanced ticket sales behind - get this - Kirk Cameron's new firefighter movie, and is anticipated to tank at the box office this weekend. It'll likely still take the #1 spot, but on a defacto level. Kind of a "least worst" position.
I don't usually pay attention to critics, but when they ALL slay a movie, it's usually a pretty good indicator. Can't say I'm surprised either since the TV commercials make it look "Enemy of the State" ripe with "The Matrix" dialogue, Shia ain't no leading man powerful or popular enough to carry his own movie yet, and Billy Bob Thornton is... well... Billy Bob Thornton aka the latest fallen power player relegated to secondary roles in B & C list movies. This thing will be out of theaters before most people realize it was released.
Actually Eagle Eye was decent modern action thriller.
Speaking of which, the Kurtzman/Orci combo had a hand in the production of this movie. And they also wrote Mission Impossible 3 and Transformers. Anyone notice the one thing they used in all 3 movies?
Nope, the unmanned Predator plane. It was used in MI3 to shoot down Tom Cruise. In Transformers, it was used to get a visual of Skorponok. And in Eagle Eye it was used in one of the movie's major action sequences.
It might be a different model of the plane but the fact was that K/O love the idea of the unmanned plane and have added it in their last 3 movies
Backscatter & I saw it last night and we both liked it a lot. I like films that are beyond reality...take you away from the real world and have fun movies.
It really never gets slow beyond an occasional breather, except at the very end for just a couple minutes.
OK It was filmed in my hometown, Chicago, and here in DC so seeing the "L" stop a couple blocks from where I live was a hoot!
It's good for a couple hour escape from reality.
No, no teaser trailer either. I thought Orci mentioned that they were planning one for Eagle Eye, but Oh Well.
Lol... I caught the press screening on Thursday and the people in charge were like "We have a special trailer in store for you guys". I was like "Oh boy! Is this it?" and then they played "Fast and Furious"... -_-"
Someone screamed "we saw this online already!!" haha
Btw I enjoyed the movie... I think critics are getting too demanding~
Eagle eye wasn't that great of a movie imo.
There won't be because they haven't finished filming yet and they've only just started the full CGI work so there is nothing finished enough to make a trailer out of yet.
Patiences is a vertue... besides the longer we wait the better the trailer will be.
Was it better that the one star rating it received?
Wasn't it confirmed the Teaser Trailer will be coming out with the new Star Trek movie?
