But are they really? He SAYS he's from Upstairs, but where's the confirmation? Heck, even if he IS from Upstairs, there's a ton of questions...such as why havent they gotten involved before this. Still, knowing Dean's lack of faith (covered in an earlier ep), it's an interesting choice to chose him as an instrument. I DID like his reaction after he stabbed him with the dagger.
what? the new season already started?!?!? Nooo!!! I have to watch this episode. I wish i could understand those comments ^^
Damn you all to hell ! Now I have to watch the whole series again, so I can do some catching up. I forgot all of it.
Yesterdays episode was awesome. I sort of knew as soon as he noticed that he had that hand mark on his arm that it was either God or some sort of angel that pulled him from Hell. I thought it was an interesting mark to the whole "Hand of God" mythos. But I do agree that there is something odd with this angel. I would assume that angels are almost all knowing as God that he would have known that Dean wasn't the one with special powers. BUT this could be interesting and taken in 2 different ways. Either Dean was supposed to be the one with special powers in the first place or he has latent powers which have yet to manifest and somehow he will end up fighting his brother in the end if he were to join the dark side (since he is starting to use his powers as seen in yesterdays episode). Can't wait for next week!!!
I think they said his name was CasTiel, actually. Who is the angel in charge of Thursdays. (This, BTW, is another reason I love this series. The little bits of 4th wall breaking humor)
New ep last night. Wow. Heavy stuff. I'm firmly convinced Castiel is who he says he is. Combined with his actual message, I think Dean and Sam are in one hell of an interesting situation. I cant wait to see what Big L ends up looking like, because you KNOW he's going to show up.
I am very pleased how angels are being portrayed in the show. Bad ass. You don't see them often, but when you do... watch out.
i love that Castiel isn't afraid to put Dean in his spot. He needs his help but that doesn't mean Dean can treat him like crap.
I watched last nights episode. WOW!! So now I'm a bit confused, was Dean meant to do what he did to get the yellow eyed demons attention focused on his mom or was that going to happen either way? It's the old "What came first, the chicken or the egg?" scenario. And also, is it safe to assume that God is not playing a role and just sitting back until the end? Since nobody, not even the angels know what is the yellow eyed demons endgame. If anyone, if God is all powerful, should know what is going to happen it would be God. So the angels not knowing means only one thing, God is taking the backseat until when and if Lucifer is released.
This. His angel buddy said that he couldn't change their destiny. Well, if God took a role, it'd be over real quick. I'm figuring that God's not so much sitting back, as manuevering angels, humans, and perhaps even demons (Ruby) into place for the best results.
