    I hope they use Gwen Stacy as the love interest for the first movie. Also hope she takes a fall off the Brooklyn Bridge. The article specifically says that the reboot will be "edgier" than Raimi's movies.

    I didn't even like Gwen Stacy's character though, the girl who played her was pretty hot but the character was just... yeah I didn't like her.

    That would be fine if they make up a character to use for the first two movies and the last one they have Mary Jane show up and show that she is the right girl.

    This is sort of away from the topic title's discussion, but who would you guys like to see cameos of in the Spidey movies? There was Nick Fury in Iron Man 1, Thor in the Hulk, The Hulk in Iron Man 2, and Stan Lee in all of them.

    I would like to see maybe Wolverine or Luke Cage like in the video games.

    I doubt there will be any superhero cameos. Plus Spider-Man's movie rights are at Sony, while the X-men, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil are at Fox, I think Marvel owns the rest.

    Anyways, I'm betting Gwen Stacy will be the love interest, if only to have her killed off.
