Me too, I found them likable after the initial shock factor wears off. Like Jar Jar Binks, after you get over the fad of hating them, you find them decent and fun enough.

I'm really sorry for all you Jolt fans. It's a shame.

Who was that guy that said if Jolt wasn't in TF3 that he would accept a ban (I don't want him to be banned, btw)? I can't find the thread where he said his friend is a technician for the Volt for GM and he said that his friend was scheduled to run maintenance on the set?

That only leaves 3 explanations: 1) Nelson is misinforming, 2) That guy's friend lied, 3) The guy made up the entire thing.

I don't know the answer, but what I do know is that I'll be mad if he isn't in the movie... I wanted to see more of that sexy robot mode.

 

Wasn't expecting much, but considering that this movie has an Autobot army, would have been nice to have him.

Of course, there is no reason that this precludes giving him a CG shot or two in robot mode, but seems doubtful. At any rate, I'll miss that pretty car. Perhaps I'll buy an Electrostatic Jolt, as no way he gets a new mold after getting cut from the film.

Damn it, Michael Bay. Go ahead, call me overdramatic, but damn it Michael Bay. After the respect I got for you from watching The Making of ROTF.  

If anything, the Volt is coming out about 2011 or so, right? That'd be prime time to advertise Jolt as a Volt. With Jolt not being a last-minute addition this time, he could've had at least maybe Ironhide and Ratchet status this time around.

This really blows bigtime, Bay.  

And we all know Jolt won't be mentioned at all. Just like Jazz, Arcee, the Constructicons, Grindor/Blackout, and a whole lot more people.

 

Well, there goes my dream of getting a better Jolt figure this go round.

 

They need more space to advertise more new characters so you will buy the new toys.

He helped "transplant those afterburners" on Optimus in Egypt! he totally played an important role!

Oh well. Guess we'll never get to hear Jolt talk now. Poor thing. He'll depart the screen as silently as he came on...

Well it likely hunting Cons off screen he got killed. As Epps said they "Shed blood, sweat and precious metal".

I find it likely with more Autobots and Decepticons on Earth civilians get in the crossfire. Hence the anti-Autobot propaganda.

they had better have really good character development for TF3, both for the new ones and the previous ones we got to see so little.

Not surprised. It needs to be said though its not like what they did with barricade. Barricade was actually in the movie and everyone and their mother noticed his absence. I dont see anyone but transformer fans like us noticing Jolts dissappearance in TF3. At least he was involved with giving prime the power up with jetfires parts. Jolt, electrify and transfer those afterburners is all we get.

 

Why are folks so worked up over this? He did absolutely nothing of note in ROTF. He was in the background for two whole scenes, for a matter of seconds, then actually does something for all of 8 seconds near the movie's end, which would easily have been written differently so he wasn't involved.

That, combined with the new guys we've seen like the 458 and the fire truck, means I don't feel any great loss.

 

Fuck that's stupid, whose responsible for this to keep happening?
