Can't they just do some filler clipshows to reach quota?

 

If I understood correctly, that's essentially what they did with the Beast Wars dubs. Create weird filler comedy episodes, but without any new animation. Apparently it was stuff like the characters doing impersonations of Japanese celebrities and game shows.

However, if TakaraTomy says they'll air animated at some point, they'll do it somehow.

I think it's probably for the best that they don't import Animated just yet.

 

and try to shoe horn it into the weird continuity they built..

 

I was talking to a friend about the importing of Animated to Japan. I proceeded to say "We'd probably see a huge rise in the production of Sari porn by Japanese perverts."

 

Kids will LOVE Animated. Power Puff Girls and Teen Titans both did extremely well in Japan. TFA is enough like those shows that it will do amazingly well.

 

I was thinking the same, though Animated is already a bit more kid-friendly and comedy-oriented than BW was, which was the apparent goal of the Japanese BW dub.

Wouldn't be surprised if most characters get some kind of affectation added to their voices though.
