    Makes sense given the time period the three movies are speculated to inhabit.

    Technically, there is already a tie in with Iron Man for Captain America since they are in the process (or finished) casting a young Howard Stark

    Exactly. Cap's movie will mostly take place during WW2 (early 40's), probably ending with his revival in the modern era at the end. Thor's, IIRC, should be along side or before the events of Iron Man 2. The Incredible Hulk, chronologically, takes place during and after Iron Man 2.

    I think all of the writers have carefully placed where all the heroes need to be so the stories run smoothly.

    There will probably be some nods. But whatever we will have them all together in the Avengers movie! WEE!!! XD
