and didn't hasbro say the new show for '08 would deal with more human adversaries? you gotta think humans are a part of their lineup sooner or later. Takara's doing it, but in a not so healthy way.
Blast, I wanted to say that one! On topic: It surprises me that they haven't made any human toys yet, but since I probably wouldn't buy them, I don't care one way or the other.
Even if they were plastic soldiers? Disgusting. You got me. Pretenders that can become human sized and resize themselves again! ^_^
It would be pretty slick to have some Micro-figures of Sam, Mikaela, S7 guys, and the army guys. They could even release a couple of Sams: - Neutral pose - A 'hands on the bonnet' pose - Sam on his mothers bike - Sitting position for OP's shoulder/hand - Holding the cube - Running (for display with Barricade)
C'mon! They release Osprey, S7 Buggy and S7 SUV, and no humans!? Hasbro, please give us mini-figures for BB and other TFs.
I could go for some human figures. Like 'em or not, they've always been important. Besides, some of the movie humans were pretty cool. You forgot the one in boxers because Frenzy took off his pants.
At the very least, they could release some small figures like they did with the Star Wars TF's. Nothing special, just a cool little something extra to go with the robots...
I'd like some packs of 2 inch tall PVC figures. Maybe sell them at the Scout Pricepoint, and pack them four to a set or something. Three packs - Sam, Mikaela, Sam's Parents Agent Simmons, the head of Sector Seven, the Secretary of Defense, the lady who figured out the code (from the Rann group) The soldiers Each pack could be done on a display base, the soldiers for example could have Scorponok bursting out the ground as their backdrop. Then you've got the TF Animated possibilities: Sari, Prof Sumdac, Detective Fanzone, the Angry Archer and the others. Not to mention the possibilities from older series: TF Armada - Rad, Alexis, Carlos, Fred, Billy TF Energon - Kicker (normal and suited), Sally, Dr Jones, Misha TF Cybertron - Bud, Coby, Lori, Agent Franklin, maybe that other scientist too Last but not least (but likely to get made before any of that) G1 - Spike, Sparkplug, Carly, Chip Chase Season 3 - Spike, Daniel, Daniel in his Exo Suit, Marissa Fairbourne Headmasters - Spike, Stylor, Gort, Arcana, Duros (all in their exo suits, Spike with helmet back, the rest with helmets on) Granted, a lot of this is wishful thinking. I make do with the PVCs of Spike and Minerva for humans to stand with my TFs most of the time. Have considered making the others myself as a kitbash project, but finding the right scale is tricky. Still, we might see some Animated humans since there are a decent number of human villains in the show.
