yeah...not really seeing much evidence in the story that justifies the article title

    they contradict eachother pretty outright

    title: NO DLC FOR TRANSFORMERS

article: we've YET to reveal our DLC plans. Its still under wraps. I cant talk about it yet

    wtf?
    *rolls eyes*

i'd be pretty hard pressed to say this game wouldnt get any DLC. DLC is a HUGE after market for games, especially right now. It would be a surprise for it to NOT have any

No DLC, yet! It's almost a sure bet that there'll be DLC content, especially if the game does well. I'm sure High Moon would tell us all about their DLC plans for WFC but they haven't even released the game yet.

My question is whether or not future DLC content will be made available for the PC, as well as the XBOX 360 and PS3 versions?

From the opening paragraph of the article:

Did you read it at all?

    THE INSECTICONS ARE NOT OBSCURE.

Bleh, that article was rather pointless.

I'm sure you've all seen this by now, but the article title is actually "High Moon is not NOT (double negative) making DLC for War for Cybertron".

Because of the nature of the base engine. DLC is too easy.

Additional Missions, more characters, even weapon packs and more MP maps.
Now this isn't to say that's their plan. That's just what's possible within the confines of the Unreal engine basis. What they do is another matter. The other question is cost or free. I've been starting to wonder this about the PC version, if it'll allow mods, etc.

Anyone not on tv for more than 2 episodes is obcsure.
Insecticons aren't obscure. someone like Star Saber is obscure, or say some other random toy only bot or random japanese background character is obscure. Comics vary, but mostly obscure too cept in rare instances.

I really hope they do a "The Other Side" expansion pack.

That covers the story of the other side of the planet and the war. Ultra Magnus and the wreckers, fighting against some decepticons fitting to their usage.

To a person whose sole experience with TFs was the recent movies and maybe an episode here and there in the '80s? Yes. To somebody who grew up with TFs and may not be paying attention to them much lately, but knows the old Sunbow cartoons fairly well and are thus likely to be following the news on this video game? No, not really. I mean, they've been reissued here in the U.S., they wouldn't be reissue someone almost no one would remember.

Barricade (the G1 guy) is obscure. Ironfist is obscure. The Insecticons aren't.

I'd honestly be surprised if the DLC is single player stuff. I mean it'd be cool if they did, but I don't really see it happening.
I'm thinking most of it is going to be things like new multiplayer modes and character models. Maybe even a new player class even. but all for multiplayer.

I just hope they won't think about dlc till after they have finished the game. I hate it when company's release dlc at the same time or just after a game is released, makes me feel like I'm not getting the whole game.

my freind had that for Christmas in 91 all I got was a unicron toy that year...

On topic if the game sells well expect DLC the engine makes it so easy to add content and given the nature of the game its all just too easy

That title is out of whack. No DLC..... but in the possible future. I remember an interview and I swear someone said we will support this game.

Actually, I think in some interview somebody (Matt Tieger?) they did have DLC plans. It's inevitable, actually.
