WTF. I like the bit about having to measure What people want in the U.S. market. It's more Mechtech right?

That's a disappointment. I guess the AM version is the way to go.

Eh, at least we can stop speculating about it. Time to buy Legion Breakdown to tide me over until I can order AM Breakdown online.

Hope we still have a chance at Jet Vehicon.

TFormers apparently did some followup questioning after the SDCC panel which included them asking about whether or not we were getting Breakdown.

Going off their response, plus the other already existing circumstantial evidence (TakaraTomy doing 3 redecoes in little time, and the lack of Hasbro marks on the mold), the case against them bringing him over just got a little stronger, sadly.

(Mods - not sure if it's cool or not to quote another news site's story given that's taking away their eyeballs. If not, feel free to remove the quoted text)

I'm not surprised at all. Hell, at this point I can say I'm fairly certain we won't even get Jet Vehicon or Unicron either.

I'm uncertain about if I'll even buy Breakdown. Depending on what happens in Season 3 of the series, I probably won't even care about the character as a whole. Not having him in my collection won't bother me in the least. It's to the point now where I just feel like making a stand (futile as it may be). Yea, Hasbro is giving us another shot with the FE's and I think that's pretty cool that they kept their word about that. They're even hooking us up with the Asian exclusives which is nice. But not giving us Breakdown? I dunno, I guess I just don't get the company's philosophy sometimes.

Wonder what the secondary market price is going to end up being for Breakdown once the word gets out. Glad I already got mine either way; he's one of the best Prime toys so it's a shame he's not getting a wide release.

What, you mean it was made well? BURN Hasbro. :p

This sucks but I'm sure there is more to this than meets the eye. I am very glad that I have the AM Version arriving today.

This is what I'm baffled about. Are they saying they NEVER planned for Breakdown to be in the toyline, and left him up to Takara? Then why was he put in a cartoon with such a small cast? Is THIS why he was so hastily offed? What about the Silas Breakdown toy, are we not getting that either? Then why is that looking to be the end result of a longstanding plot arc? I know Prime's whole deal was that it was developed as a cartoon first and debuted well ahead of the toys to prove its value as an IP, but you've got to have some synergy between the two. It's one thing when the seventh Autobot from the left in a cartoon with a cast of dozens doesn't get made, but when there's five guys on either side, it's like... hhhnnn, I don't even know. I don't wanna hop on the hate train after all the awesome stuff we've seen in the last 24 hours, but that's a pretty goddamn big fucking hole in the Prime Decepticons lineup.
