    I keep forgetting when these shows are, they always tell us 3 months in advance but then its real quiet until the day of the show. If I remember it, I will be there!

    I went to one in NY a long time ago, I loved it!

    NJCC 80′s TOYPOCALYPSE 2011 adds Dan Khanna as guest Transformers artist. Dan started his Transformers career as a fan artist, creating commissioned drawings of Transformers characters and action scenes. He gained fame in the community, and has since become part of the creative team for the new Fun Publications-run Fan Club and conventions, illustrating and plotting Club & BotCon comics as well as designing heads and character mock-ups for exclusive toys.

    Booked the hotel over the weekend. The cousin, the kiddo, and I had a great time last year with all kinds of cool finds - both TF and Joe, alike. Not really going in with a wish list, but hoping to be surprised by some cool finds again.

    I emailed yesterday about getting a table. If I get one I'll be selling off a lot of the first run of classics, all sealed, along with as much other stuff as I can dig up. If not.. well, I'll just be shopping. :p

    i am on the fence about going. I would be traveling 4 hrs and herd the dealer room was somewhat small.

    It's not comparable to Comic-Con or Botcon. It's a decent sized dealers room, and there was plenty of diverse toys there from the very recent to the very old. If you plan on hanging around with people, checking out the costume contest, trying to win the door prizes, etc., then it's really worth coming to. If you only plan on doing a quick sweep of the dealer room and then bolting, then it depends on what you're looking for.

    Small compared to some bigger shows, maybe - but these have proven to be more about quality over quantity ;)  I've done big shows that are full of JUNK - like, literally trash. Not so with NJCC. It's a good time. Especially if you're into G1 TFs and 80's GIJoe figs - LOTS of those at this thing. I feel it's only a matter of time before this thing gets moved to an even bigger venue. 4 hours is a hike, but rest assured - this ain't some yardsale you're driving to ;)

    First crack at the dealer room, 2 early admissions door prizes. Pretty much the same as any other convention. Some people like to get in early to beat others to potential deals.

    Around the same size dealer room I would say. Though the New York one felt larger.
