I started this thread in the heavy mods, but Im sure it really belongs here. Slapping on a pair of wings was a big change to me but Im sure its more common place. The original idea for this project was to make a modern Scattershot. While I can see it, even with the head I had picked out, I just wasnt feeling it, but still liked the way this guy looked. He's about 90% done, need to do some touch up painting and decide what Im doing to do about his weaponry. I thing Im going to attach universe seeker missle launchers to each forearm instead of 2 to the left forearm. Any Ideas on this would be greatly appreciated. So here is a little bio I thought of while working on this guy (name is up for debate as well) Many names are infamous throughout the universe. The Depcepticon armies hold claim to many at the top of this list. While some inspire fear and dread, one name sends a chill down your spine and the anticipation of his actions are only slighty less destructive than the actions themselves. Many know the name of Shockwave, this is the story of one of his proudest creations. Having been on the forefront of cybertronian science, Shockwave was obsessed with creation of additional modes for the Decepticon warriors. His creation, the Triplechangers, are a powerful force to be reckoned with. As with most technology after it is deployed it will fall into enemy hands, it was not long before the Autobots had triplechangers of their own. While not as powerful as their counterparts, they proved to be a thorn in side of Shockwave. Not being without some Ambition, Shockwave wanted to endow himself with additional alternate modes, but fearing damage to other long term goals he dare not experiment on him self. An answer came one day when Scattershot, badly damaged, was brought in as a ransom after a battle. Making a clone of the Autobot Triplechanger, and placing a piece of his own spark inside, a twisted combonation was born. A twin of Shockwave, with most of his intelligence, all of his sinister cunning, and a level of firepower all his own, Shockblast was brought into universe. *11/11* Came up with some weapon ideas, heres what they look like. The claws are from Energon Scorponok and sharpied them red, before I decided to cut off some extra tabs >.> TFTM Jazz's weapon was added to the other arm, Cant decide if its sitting to high or not. Let me know what you guys think and Ill sure them up and get them painted as well as the touch ups. Also here are the weapons with alt modes.
Added some alt mode pics as well as my first run at a weapons package. Not 100% on the gun, Ideas would be greatly appricated.
Which arms did you use for Shockwave? I've been wanted to custom my Shockwave for a while now but can never find out what are the best arms everyone is using for him.
This is 2 right arms of energon Shockblast. I found a store on ebay that was selling a bunch of random guys for 5.88 a piece, but there was something wong with all of them but I did get 2 Shockblasts. One of them is being put aside for a G1ish Shockwave, using Classics Megatrons arms (they look really good) so I had an extra arm and slapped it on this guy.
Thanks! After relooking at your pickures I noticed they were both right arms. I also found out that Energon Baracade arms also work very well for Shockwave which I probaly will use for mine sence I have one handy
