MTV Multiplayer Wii Speak Channel Only For Wii Speak Purchasers, Don’t Buy It Used

I can get behind this. It will help on people getting it and selling it off right away like Wii Play. And it's a total failure on Nintendo's part by cutting down on used game purchases and making more by increasing the demand for buying something new from a retailer. Total failure. I'm certain they'll lose money.

Really odd they won't even allow the WS channel to be downloaded from the Shopping channel.

 

I guess I'm an idiot, because I don't see the big deal.

 

Basically they prevent the chance for ANY 3rd party hardware to be produced....

Typically 3rd party peripherals are inferior to Nintendo products. Not all the time, but most of the time.

I don't see any other Xbox 360 microphones out there that are produced by other than Microsoft. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I don't care to because that's all you ever need. Unless it breaks like mine did, lol.

Nintendo just likes to control things. You want to talk on the Wii? Buy the stupid thing. Unless you're a cheap ass and want to get it second hand. But you can't do that because you need the code...awwww!

The more power they take away from EB/Gamestop the better.

 

the wii is the most peripheralised machine i've ever seen man, so many add-ons its unbeleiveable.

 

It's a measure to cut, nay kill, used sales, which is fine with me. However to do it on a peripheral and not a game? Smacks of idiocy.

Last night my PS3 Warhawk Bluetooth headset got crushed between the gearshift in my car.......   I loved that little thing. Best Freebie ever, all things considered.

Time to get a new one. I hear the official Sony one kicks ass, but damn it's pricey.

 

There are better ways to go about it than locking a peripheral.

Wow, so in an effort to stick it to the Gamestop man, you will spend more money on a game instead of saving on a used game. Nintendo is such a wholesome company, they deserve our understanding, because unlike greedy Gamestop, Nintendo is in it for the sheer art and entertainment of children everywhere, they wouldn't take a dime for their games if you offered it.

Nintendo can kiss my ass. Fortunately I don't own a Wii yet to care.

 

At this point it's the only thing they can do seeing as DLC for Wii is non-existant. I can't really see why you'd be so miffed about it. If anything you should be annoyed that it's just fucking Animal Crossing again. How many times in one lifetime can you financially bind yourself to Tom Nook and be ok with it?

 

Actually it doesn't really bug me that much, hehehe. I forgot to attach a   to it. I didn't mean it annoyed. The only part that does annoy me is when people consider Nintendo the all-giving Santa of the gaming industry and Sony and MS as the money gobblers. Like Gamestop doesn't have a right to be a corporation, but Nintendo does. Because they are kind and giving people.
