Warner Bros. offers yet another statement on LEGO City Undercover on Switch

 

Heads up again: Supposedly this and the Classic will be available Best Buy Online tomorrow 12pm CT according to their (BB) FB post. Imma try snag a Classic if possible.

 

All of a sudden my Switch has stopped connecting to my wifi network. It gives "Could Not Perform DNS test" as an error. Anyone else seen this? My other wifi stuff works fine.

And in a related note anyone using an off brand USB-Ethernet adapter? If so what kind and how's it work?

 

Anyone else having issues with their internet connection? I keep getting a DNS error. Thought it was because of a weak signal, so I went downstairs where the modem is located. Still getting the same error. Its done this for two days..

 

I'm seeing the same thing - see my post above. It looks like a hard power down is needed to fix this. I haven't done it yet but will in the morning.

I did it and it seemed to do the trick. Hope this doesn't become a constant issue.

Yep restart did it. I don't know why this was necessary. Hopefully it's an issue they will fix.

 

Yeah they said it WAS a mess up and the full game will be on the card. Looks like me and everyone else jumped the gun again. Also the Mario cameos will be on the switch version only. There is a update but it's not as big and the boxart is wrong and will only be on the first print covers and might get recalled. I would like to know what happened at wb to get the mess started. All this did was hurt the games sales.

Note that if these cases are recalled they will become collectors items in the future so you might want to hang on to them if you get one!

 

I had the same problem with the eShop, did the hard power down and everything is fine.

Is Has-been Heroes a physical release or digital on eShop?

 

It's both, but published by Gamestop so physical is Gamestop exclusive. I just grabbed it digitally alongside snakepass, loving both.

 

Well we kinda knew this was going to be the situation into maybe fall. All that we know really is that MK, arms, squidkids 2 and a few other titles will be sprinkled in between then and now. As for VC, they never really made any concrete announcements so the only real answer you have there is "eventually".

If you are hurting for stuff to play, highly suggest Fast RMX and Blaster master zero. They are very much worth the $20 and $10 respectively.

 

The plus side with VC is that Nintendo has implied, heavily and more than once, that whatever they're working on will resolve the issue of having to buy the same games over and over across platforms.

Good to hear the LCU download issue was an error. If that wasn't the case, it would have been an automatic no-buy for me. Now I feel okay preordering. (Loved the original version, and never finished it. Seriously, despite being a Lego game with all the usual Lego goofiness, it was one of the most purely fun open world city games I'd ever played at the time, with surprisingly large and varied areas.)

 

What's the deal on adding additional storage? Will any micro SD card be OK, or do you need to pay extra for the Plus versions?

 

Not quite sure what the precise specifications are, and I know there's one type (microSDXC) that support wasn't available for at launch and would require a patch to support that was coming later (don't know if that happened day one, or what,) but here's a couple of potential lists of recommended cards (can't vouch for quality or authority here):
