Hey guys, if you don't know already you can register any 3 Nintendo titles or Hardware whether they be Gamecube, GBA, or DS to get 3 free issues of Nintendo Power. Pretty sweet I think, and I have like 15 things registered so, i'll be able to get like 15 free magazines by using the offer multiple times. Also after you use up your free magazine offers, you can subscribe to Nintendo Power for $12 dollars a year. Meaning you'll get each issue for only a dollar! Also, I think you still qualify for the free gift you get when you subscribe!

Not bad, too bad I don't own any newer nintendo systems though. I'll keep this in mind when I get a gamecube after the eventual price drop.

Yes, but you can use the $12/For a Year (or $15 Canadian) over and over. I've used it twice so far.

It's much better now than it used to be. It's like they looked at Wizard and decided that snappy geeky banter is funny. Sometimes.

I'm still hate the unending embarrassment of looking at it whenever Pokemon is on the cover though.

When I worked at TRU I read a few NP issues and they never gave a bad review on any game that I saw. Stuff independant mags like EGM and Gamepro gave really low ratings Nintendo still gave a fairly positive review. I can't trust a magazine when they give a buggy poorly made game a positive review like that.

NP is horrible. I got a free subscription about a year and a half ago for something, and after about 4 issues I didn't even bother looking at it, and just threw them away when I got them. No news, no games anyone cares about unless there is a Mario or Zelda coming out soon. Completely biased reviews. Really just a horrible magazine.

Yeah sure, that's not really true but cool. NP gives bad reviews to bad games. Giest? A first party Nintendi title and it got 4 out of 10, they ripped the game apart.

I don't trust any magazine, but I love NP for it's exclusize Nintendo content, and it's "new" sense of humor.

4/10 is still a mediocre review.. I never saw anything lower than a 4.. There are certainly games out there that deserve a 1 or 2.
