That's right. It's been exactly 10 YEARS since Nintendo released their first ever 3-D game console right to America. September 29th, 1996 marked a historic moment in Nintendo history, as we not only got the first 3-D game system from Nintendo, we also got Super Mario 64 out of it, which later proved to be one of the greatest games of all time (not as good as Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time). And I have some videos to help commemorate this occasion.

Man, 10 Years of Nintendo 64. Who wants to share their experiences?

Hey, don't forget the other launch title, Pilotwings 64! Yeah yeah, I know it wasn't the amazing platformer Super Mario 64 was, but it was a great, enjoyable game IMO.

Wow, it's been that long? Seems like longer.

I remember getting the pokemon special edition console back in 1999. It came with a VHS pokemon cassette and everything. :D  I bought pokemon stadium and starwars pod racer for it all at the same time, and yea, a memory expansion too. Sure was a big day. I also went and bought a gameboy colour pokemon yellow game for it too to use in the adapter that came with stadium. Funny thing is that was the game I mostly played on it. :D  I also bought goldeneye and MACE games as well.

But right now it's still in minty condition back in its minty box in the cupboard along with a playstation that I got for christmas that year also back in its minty box in the cupboard. PC gaming just won out for me. :)

And back in those days of pentium 200mmx computers, noone imagined the ease we'd be playing emulated N64 games on our computers now. :)

I bought a fully functional N64 and Ocarina of Time from a coworker a few years ago. Best $10 I ever spent.

Now that's a system I completely passed up. Not because I didn't like the games or the system or anything; I was just more hooked on PC games at the time.

I remember playing GoldenEye a few times at college, but I never saw the appeal of it when I could just sit down on my PC and play counterstrike with the same folks in my dorm.

Oh God, Goldeneye was so much fun with other people.

My obsessions were Mario, Killer Instinct, Perfect Dark, and WCW/nWo.

I sold my N64 when they released Ocarina of Time on GC for people that reserved the Windwaker. At the time I thought Zelda was the only game worth keeping that system for. I have recently been regretting it as I had some other really fun games for it: Mario 64, Starfox, F-Zero, Shadows of the Empire. I can't think of any others at the moment. I have an N64 emulator, but I can't get every game to work. Mario works perfectly, so I'm happy as that was probably my favorite game after Zelda. I still need to find a way to get Starfox to work as that game kicked all kinds, colors, and sizes of ass.

Love my N64. I got it with StarFox64. Totally awesome game. Got some good stuff for it too. Mario 64, Goldeneye, Zelda, Perfect Dark. Perfect Dark was the game that stayed in my system until I had to hook up my GameCube. :D

I really loved this system. I know a lot of people didn't. It had some of my favorite games I've ever played; Ocarina of Time, Star Fox, Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, mario kart, goldeneye, super smash bros, etc. It was a very fun system.
