it feels easier than sigma to me, but i am only on the second level. after you remove some limbs from people, you can press heavy attack to initiate a baddaskillcombo move, and they're all pretty damn sweet. also i forget the name of those charge up attacks (hold heavy attack) but a full charge will cause Ryu to launch and enemy, and literally dice them in the air. ninjas ftw.
Ultimate Technique? Yeah I went around to a bunch of shops yesterday, THAT HAD THE FUCKING GAME IN THE CABINETS BEHIND THE COUNTER and they refused to sell it to me. Bastards. Yeah. Right then I wished I had a Ninja sword, I would run up the wall and shoot back down, impaling the shopkeeps onto the floor, and while they writhe around a bit I'd spin around in a somersault/cartwheel thingy and then chop off their heads. Then, when their essences float out of their bodies I would charge up, draw them in and then take out everyone else in the shop. No witnesses, no Ninjas. Sigh. I wish I really had ninja powers. I'd abuse them so much.

well i hope said parents dont try to sue tecmo after thier kid sees all the swordplay and gore and tries to emulate it. allthough they'd have to get in line behind Itagaki right now.
I didn't get to play very far last night. I just got to the part of Toky that looks like Kokoro's stage from DOA 4 (nice touch). But that Spider-ninja that kidnaps Sophia, was that Frank Welker? No kidding -that drama is pretty crazy right now. I look forward to Tecmo's releasing DOA 5 without Itagaki and then his eventual quotes about how the game is no good.
Frank Welker? i hope not - its pretty bad acting so far! although the movement of the lips whilst talking is the best i've ever seen in a game. i hope they don't make doa5, i want my 8000 matches on 4 to count for something! besides, they never released that promised dlc, whatever it was going to be.
I'm probably wrong. He only had that one line. But, Michael Bell was Muramasa in the first game -even though his only dialog was variations on "Hmmm" so you never know. The DLC for DOA4 was pretty frustrating and ironic considering that DOA3 had DLC before Xbox Live even materialized.
doa3 had dlc? what was it? i always hoped for a couple of new characters to be added to 4, but alas. i wonder if 5 will even get made now?
