Since search is disabled again, and I just saw the movie last night, I thought I'd post something...

In the scene where the Autobots are driving to the Xanthium, someone is saying that there's nine Autobots...

Wouldn't that mean that there's really no chance for Skids, Mudflap, and Jolt. Also, what about Arcee? What happened to these characters between movies? Also if Skids and Mudflap are seen in a few scenes, why are they not accounted for as part of the nine? Brains and Wheelie don't seem to count either... The final 9 Autobots seem to be OPTIMUS PRIME, RATCHET, BUMBLEBEE, SIDESWIPE, MIRAGE/DINO, WHEELJACK/QUE, ROADBUSTER, LEADFOOT, and TOPSPIN.

With WheeljaQ getting offed at the end, that leaves a grand total of EIGHT Autobots left standing at the end.

So again, what happened to Skids, Mudflap, and Jolt?

Jolt was killed by Shockwave in Rising Storm

Elita-1 was killed by Shockwave in rising Storm (but Arcee and Chromia are alive but thanks to Soundwvae theri communications we´re jammed thus they cant contact the other autobots)

Skids and Mudflap i think we´re killed offscreen by Sentinel (also the scene was meant to happen after Skids and mudflap died)

I believe that in the comic and novel adaptations they're taken down by Sentinel while covering Bumblebee, after Ironhide is shot. In the movie you can actually hear someone yelling Mudflaps name while Sentinel trashes the NEST base.

I would have liked to Skids and Mudflap get killed. Not because I hate them but I thinks its better than just not having them in the movie. No need for them to talk just be there to get killed be Sentinel.

Don't blink they were there in the NEST bay entrance scene.

Leaving them out of the plot hurt the anti-Autobot subplot.

Okay, the comics can't really count, because only 9 Autobots being left on Earth leaves out pretty much every character that is introduced in the comics. Like Star Wars and Doctor Who, what's on the screen is core canon.

Having said that, the novel does have Skids and Mudflap getting killed by Sentinel, though? Interesting...

I'm pretty sure we see what's left of Skid and Mudflap fly out of the hangar door when Mearing is about to enter NEST base, can't say for sure and I can't even recall hearing someone yell Mudflap either.

Though on character's death, when the Autobots are deploying in Chicago Sideswipe tells one of the Autobots to
    "Cover Hide."

Arcee (the red one) got shot in the face in the desert battle in RotF. The purple cycle was the only one who presumably survived that battle.

According to the IDW adaptation (which is based on the script & obviously had to be completed & printed before the movie was finalized,) Skids & Mudflap are killed by Sentinel Prime right after he shoots Ironhide. Jolt... what the fuck are you doing asking for things in a Michael Bay movie to be 100% explained anyway?:lol

There is actually 11. Wheelie and Brains are 10 and 11. They are seen in cages in the hanger when this is said so it's just a minor movie mistake.
