It looks like something out of Berserk, which honestly intrigues me.

My morbid curiosity is making me want to try out this game, but right now I have so many other games I'm playing, and so many other games I've passed up, that I can't really justify grabbing this one.

Sounds like this is going to be fun. I'll have to pick up this and Resonance of Fate. I enjoyed Cavia's last couple of games, the Drakengard series, so hopefully this will be as much fun.

This sounds pretty good, I might have to pick it up when it comes out, or if it did today, since it's tuesday.

I'm about two hours into it now. The first boss battle was radder than f-n' Megaforce.

    Believe it!:thumbs2:

Last night got to fight some Japanese tentacled bundle of fun--and had red balls shot at me for my troubles.

And, oh yeah, killed some deer for venison.

    Finished "Part 1" last night.

The boss battle to transition into Part 2 was EPIC.

This game may have some PS2 graphics but it is simply awesome to me anyway. I'll take crappy-ish graphics for great game play any day of the week.

    Just got this.

My goodness, the intro cutscene has grabbed my attention. Now I want to know how things got the way they are.

Done the first dungeon or whatever you would call it as well, it's a lot of fun, and Grimoire Weiss is a brilliant character.

What is it about floating, talking books that is so utterly badass?

    Weiss only gets better!

That first dungeon (Lost Shrine) was truly awesome as well. While the side quests can get a bit tedious, they do offer a bit of a break.

This game's certainly not for everyone, for sure, but once in you're into the story, you're in. I'm glad to see that someone else around these parts is enjoying this one.:D

You will have more fun finishing Drag-On Dragoon(1) then move on to Nier.

    Excellent :)
Yeah this one captured my imagination with the trailer and backstory, so I just had to pick it up. The intro did a great job keeping my attention too, so I'll be spending a lot of time enjoying it.

The most badass Overlord in the entire cosmos? Sure have!
I need to give it a proper playthrough sometime, that and the other NIS strategy titles.

Already finished it, and the sequel.
It's another of the things that attracted me to this. I loved Drakengard, bought it cheap and played the heck out of it, got way more than what I spent on it out in enjoyment.

Finished the game last night after 50+ hours and grinding the hell out of Exp. for Ending A.
    Absolutely epic!

    Starting play-through#2 tonight.

And, oh yeah, the DLC is officially rad.

That DLC is very, very nice. Young Nier, extra areas, new weapons, it's just about everything you could want in an expansion pack.
