As much as both movies weren't all that good, I'm kinda glad kids were smart to choose the lesser of two evils.

Kids might not always have the best tastes in the world, but the little buggers can be smarter than we give them credit for. So perhaps kids found Revenge of the Fallen to be too much of a mess of a film.

Or maybe kids just like singing and dancing animals, with oh so topical pop-culture references!

Its what happens when the characters are flat and uninteresting. Wheelie was about the only enjoyable character but even then he was way to cheeze ball for most of it. I mean what does a robot get from humping a leg??

I absolutely adore the mentality that children considered ROTF a bad piece of cinema and decided to snub it in the votes by voting for something else.

I'm surprised ROTF was even given a chance to win.

It's true, though. There was this four-year-old girl at one of the showings of RotF I went to, and she was all like, "Look at the plot holes! And that potty humor?! Completely unnecessary! If Roger Ebert were dead, he'd be spinning in his grave! I am absolutely appalled by the shoddy quality and unacceptable content of this movie! I daresay I will enjoy the cinematic experience of Alvin and the Chipmunks a hundredfold more than this poor excuse of a movie!"

^^^ Tell me this is a joke. :lolol

I knew we weren't going to win - Chipmunks won over Transformers back in 08. Maybe this'll send a message to Bay that kids still like Chipmunks better than Transformers, and now that his favorites the Twins have failed, he's gonna have to do better than that.

Let's see, the only awards we've gotten are Razzies, the only nominations we've gotten are for SOUND EDITING, and best actor/actress to a kid.

I knew we wouldn't win, but it still pissed me off a bit last night watching the results.

But hey, at least the trolls of the films are having a great time.

The best movie for all ages last year would've been Star Trek.

Oh well, at least kids didn't pick RoTF.

Maybe because RotF was more appealing to boys where the Chipmunks appeal to both boys and girls?

If some of the more rabid haters of the movie want to consider this a "victory" be my guest. Enjoy it, meanhwile I´m gonna see the Blue Ray of Revenge of the Fallen again.
