I really like this toy. However one thing really bugs me, a MH-53 has 7 blades not 6. I will still buy it, but I will feel shame.

boring but perfect colors, he may be my favorite in this movie when it comes to looks, when it comes to personalitys then i suspect barricade or bonecrusher to be my heros because of their look (megatron are just to damn ugly to care about)

    Wow! Fantastic! Awesome! Incredible!

I can't believe how good Blackout looks in those pics. Even the head looks amazing. Both this guy and Ratchet are sure buys from me.

If Blackout uses his rotor blades as a weapon like that in the movie........

Only thing that bugs me is the one giant back propeller chunk. It has a nifty lil play feature and all, but that play feature causes it to have a MASSIVE piece of extra kibble that could have transformed with the bot far better without it. Sadly I think this is the biggest we're getting of him, but I feel if it weren't for the action feature that back kibble wouldn't exist.

...still gonna get it though, that thing is FREAKING AWESOME.

Someone please give me a reason why the insect-like head sculpts of the movie aesthetic is a bad thing?

I'll give you two reasons why they make sense:

    1) G1-style humanoid faces would look absolutely riduclous in a realistic live-action movie.

    2) There are more insects on this planet than any other creature - if a being from another planet/galaxy/whatever was to resemble a creature from earth, what do you think it is most likely to look like statistically?

Besides which this toy along with a few of the other movie designs looks excellent. You know what though? I'll buy all of them if only because i'm a sucker for completeness. I probably won't even take them out of the packaging either.

Yeah I was hoping for a bushido-borg style helmet with an obligatory liquid metal face.

    :rolleyes2

pretty much the only "must buy" of the line for me ~ there's a couple others i dig, but this is the definitive figure.

even thought i find most of the heads in this movie horribly ill-informed and a major design snafu from even a conceptual standpoint, i find myself more accepting of this one, possibly because it's completely a new character.

The whole blade weapon would be better if it wasn't part of his back, it just seems way to large to wield and be of any use. I also hope the colors change to look more like his colors in the movie. I like the color sheme but see it as being wierd for it not to be the same as the actual movie design.

    BFG!

He looks awesome, and is pretty much the only must buy movie toy I've seen. The paint apps are sparce, but really nice, and the articulation seems limited. He's just so badass, though. He's a melding of BW Inferno and G1 Soundwave..too of the best characters ever. And he's a helicopter!

In these pics, I get a real Soundwave feel from this guy. I think it's the blue and the yellow trim around the windows.

Fantastic, and his alt mode is flawless (6 blades for a MH-53, 7 for the CH-53/E sea/Super Stallion navy version. I think.)

I think I need to go change pants....
