Yeah it's definetly late April weather right now. That appears good seats you had. Was the ACC atmosphere more or less the same as your house? This is the 2nd year in the past 10+ years that we've had something to cheer about. Our Jays had a decent run in the past couple of years, as well our Raptors. The Leafs fans need this.
Crowd was great. Most crowds are friendly (sans Philly, but that is what it is). Lots of suits/corporate guys there, just like MSG. I had a great time as always when I'm in Canada.
Great night of hockey at the United Center last night. Always a good time when the Hawks beat the Pens. Highlight reel goal by Panik, a hat-trick by Kane, and throwing my free hat on to the ice is priceless!
I'm very surprised the Pens didn't trade Fleury. Look I still love Fleury, but Matt Murray is the future. It's not a bad thing to have two all star goalies. Hopefully, these draft pick trades for defensemen work out. It's one of the only pieces we need to make another run for the Cup.
You guys will be fine. The eastern conference is stacked. It should come down to Washington or Pittsburgh. I am still not a big fan of the new seeding system where they try to focus on divisional series in the early rounds. Very hard watching either the Hawks or St. Louis getting bounced in the first round last year.

Games like yesterday's are why I'm glad the Pens didn't cut Fleury just yet. Streit performed really well in his first home game on the cool side of Pennsylvania, and everyone stepped up for an impressive comeback.
Favorite team--Florida Panthers. Anyway, I think the trade the Panthers had with Detroit for Thomas Vanek was probably for nothing with the Panthers losing three straight since the trade. I believe Detroit received the better end of the trade.
