Anybody watching it? who do you think goes #1?
i think Russell is definately going #1, the raiders have only one QB on the team right now and you can't possibly pass on a player with that much potential. I'm wondering in what round Michael Bush, the running back from Louisville is gonna go. That broken leg is gonna set him back but how far down??
Looks like you were right about Russell. I think Bush will go early in the second round, not too many great backs in the draft this year (after Peterson, who is a major back he has to compete with?)
2nd pick: Calvin Johnson
3rd pick: Browns pick Joe Thomas! WTF??? Looks like the Browns want to continue their recent tradition of losing
No. The Browns want to STOP their recent tradition of getting our Quarterbacks killed. No point drafting a QB or running back that's just gonna get murdered in the backfield. It makes sense.
That being said... still not sure about picking him number 3 overall.
They do pull off a nice trade with Dallas to get both Thomas and Quinn. Not to mention they get Quinn at quite a bargain at #22 instead of #3
The Niners did okay. I think. Actually more like: I hope and pray.
Yeah, that was awesome. It was cool seeing the expression on Quinn's face when he was finally selected by his favourite team. It's nice to have somebody that actually wants to play here, and one that's going to be (well, supposed to be) really good. Could be the next Bernie Kosar! Woot!
Yeah, nothing to get too excited over. I hope Nolan will continue the improvement of the ballclub and make the playoffs. If not then I hope they will come pretty close.
Bengals had a descent draft, nothing too great. Was amazed at Kenny Irons getting picked up.
Wow, Eagles, Wow.
610wip mention that the Eagles would use there first pick on a quarterback. My thinking is that there building for the future. I guess they don't want to win a Superbowl now. It's sucks too because I wanted them to get a top rated strong safetly. Brian Dawkins isn't getting any younger.
