Worst collapse of the past year? Warriors, Indians, or Falcons.

I'm going with the Warriors on this one. Had a chance to be the greatest team of all time and had 3 chances to win one game.

Yes, but the Warriors won the previous years finals so they at least have that to fall back on. In addition, losing a 3-1 lead in a best of 7 is not without precedent.

That said, I can see the Warriors getting back and winning this years finals before I can see the Falcons even having another winning record for some time. That lose with haunt them for years. It would not surprise me to see them go into a tailspin that evokes memories of the 80's Falcons teams...

Listening to my various podcasts today about the game and one of the main things pointed out was the fact that the Patriots offense at 92 plays while Atlantas only had 46. Thus by the 4th quarter the Atlanta defense was gassed and couldn't put up the same pass rush the had done the previous 3 quarters.

Falcons for sure. They didn't have a key player suspended or hurt (yes I know there was one player playing through injury) but it didn't seem like a factor. To choke away a 25 point lead in 1 game is inexcusable.

Just a daily reminder that the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead and Brady has five rings.

    Good day friends.

Haha, no more mentioning that as it was last season and that thread is locked. This all about 2017-2018.

So what you're saying is to make the posts relevant for this thread I just need to include some form of "defending champs."

Yeah like I can say " I'm super excited about the upcoming season as the 3 time SuperBowl Campion Denver Broncos try to add another title"

In terms of the things Texans need to work on. For starters, that O-Line needs to be fixed. Even if Osweiler is poop, lets give him a few extra seconds to actually make sure he's throwing picks because of pressure instead of 100% mediocrity.

Anyone want to buyout Osweiler's contract btw?

That'd be one way to cause the fan base to actually die.

Yeah like say, "Just a daily reminder that the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead and Brady has five rings. He'll be in the 2017-2018 season as a defending champ."

So regarding Brady's missing jersey, I think the suspect is the hall of fame rep. Those guys try to grab anything on the spot. It's not a surprise the football and jersey are missing.

I have good feeling for this upcoming season with the Broncos. I watched their press conference yesterday were they introduced all of the new coordinators. Mike McCoy the new OC made it clear team is happy with the quarterbacks we have and we will fix the offensive line this upcoming season. New DC Joe Wood said the defense will not change from what Wade Phillips developed but will only be enhanced through discussions with defensive staff and HC Joseph. Focus will be to fix our run defense. The new special teams coordinator was all fired and seems extremely excited to get to work and provide the best field position for both the offense and defense to succeed.

I think they'll bounce back but depending on how Kansas does I don't think they'll make the playoffs

It will be an interesting year but it will help that our OC was HC in San Diego and the Chargers kept their same OC so will have insight into their offense. Our quarterbacks coach was the raiders OC and he was replaced by their quarterbacks coach in Oakland so we'll insight there as well. Finally our new special teams coordinator was with KC this past season, so Denver will have insight on all three division rivals.

I have no doubt they'll bounce back. The Broncos are one of most well-managed teams out there right now.

I'm hoping Oakland signs Latavius Murray to a new deal.
