Considering G.I. Joe made a figure of Matt Trakker, do you think M.A.S.K. will have a great 25th year anniversary?

I remember watching it as a child, and colouring in their awesome colouring books. That and the awesome Centurions :)

Let me tell you, if they re-did M.A.S.K. I would be all over that! I loved those toys when I was a kid and I still have most of them.

I'd love to see MASK revisted, but with the characters 25 years older. Mostly just for Miles Mayhem losing control of his bladder, pissing all over Switchblade's cockpit and crashing.

Probably not enough brand recognition to make it worthwhile, but I sure could go for a few reissues of the original toys.

I used to build little exosuits out of Legos for my MASK guys. Kind of like a poor man's Centurions. :lol

*Crosses fingers for U.S. DVD set of the series*

Anybody remember the one with Trakker racing the Formula 1 car and Venom trying to stop him? I only had the video cassette of this episode, I never saw anything else but I watched the hell out of that one video, wish I could see the rest.

That was the final season of M.A.S.K where it went from a spy show to a racing show for no reason. Meyham got a twin and it was very lame. The original (better animated I believe) concept was secret force fighting domestic terrorists. I always loved the beginning when their watches went off and they would drop whatever they were doing to run to the base. The concept would transfer very well to a movie or a new cartoon. Heck many of the original episodes still hold up.

    Thought this was hilarious.

Wow....just wow. I have never seen that live action Mask footage is that from a commercial? Why didn't they make a real show of that, they made the cars and everything. Honda's sports car headlight thing... just amazing.

    "Dear Hollywood,

I gather you're planning to make a film based on Action Force. Please don't bother, as MASK would be over 9,000 times more awesome. But don't put Airwolf in it, The Lady deserves her own film.

Oh, and get Chris Nolan to make it.

Yours with nothing but hatred for Michael Bay,
    Sledge."

I liked MASK in the 80s, but there actually are some toy lines that should remain beloved without leaving the 80s.

I'd like to see some of the toys reissued, and a US DVD release. But I don't see a "classics" series or a re-imagining of the series working too well.

Hasbro has already said, IIRC, that Matt Trakker was a one shot kind of thing for MASK and that we'd be getting more more figures. :(

I was at a local collector shop the other day and he had some MASK VHS tapes. We started talking and I remember having the Camaro but my parents got rid of it. I always wanted another because that was my favorite car at the time and just a cool vehicle. You know what he told me?

"You should have been here 2 days ago."

M.A.S.K was really big in the UK, and still does very well on the collector front - I notice with interest that it seems to have less US interest in it. We Brits have always had excellent taste!!

Like with TF, I always preferred the (UK) MASK comics than the cartoon in terms of supporting media. However, I absolutely loved the toys and still have all my originals.

I'd be all over commemorative reissues, moreso than a whole new line. But let's just see shall we...

Always been a big fan of MASK. I had a friend who had virtually every vehicle. Rhino was by far my favorite. I would always pit Rhino against the thundertank.

I'd be happy with a re-release of some of the toys.
