Hmmm.......an idea just came to my mind. MP Tarantulas. I know there are a lot of other more worthy characters out there, but, it would make for a nice kitbash into my Beast Wars Venom idea that I'm currently trying to find a BW Tarantulas to work with. My more serious answer to whome should be made into a Masterpiece, umm.......... Jetfire. They could take the Classics mold, make it bigger, add detail, add more paint apps, give him some more cool accesories, put it into some nice packaging, and the end product is a MP Jetfire. They could also take that, make a different jetpack for it, give it a different head, and also have a MP Skyfire.

Edit: I'd also liket o see a MP Movie Optimus Prime (the new one). That would be awesome.

 

I keep hoping for sound wave, he'd be mp starscream size, but come with 4 tapes
or mp Ultra Magnus Armor.

 

You know if some KO company makes a oversized classics starscream, i'd be happy to add that as a MP toy, but for the next MP, I'd think it would be be galvatron or rodimus prime

 

I wouldn't mind that. I would just hope that they would rerelease the Magnus repaint of Prime more widley than they origionally did.

I wouldn't like to see BW characters in the MP line.

Masterpeice, has so far, been about giving iconic charaters from G1, faithful and well engineired versions of them. BW are awesome and pretty show accurate to begin with. So I would like to see more deserving characters like Soundwave, any of the remold seekers, Galvatron, Cyclonus, or even Jazz (I would die if they did Jazz) done first.

Though they will most likely repaint an existing MP first before they release a new mold.

Ironhide is the logic option, IMO - he's on the new movie (character-wise), transforms into a generic van and can be redeco'ed into Ratchet.

we already have an Alt version of Jazz, and Porche said no to a licecense to use their designs, we have a BT Version of Ironhide, so I think those are most likely a no, but I do se a Soundwave possiblity

 

If we're talking about new molds = Grimlock
If we're talking about repaints = Anime Accurate Starscream

I am expecting a repaint of MP Starscream (Skywarp, Thundercracker). I doubt they will come out with another new mold right away.

 

I'd like it to be soundwave. Obviously I wouldnt want it to be actual tape deck size (that's what G1 is for) but for the robot to fit the box like the others.

 

Why should the MP line be limited to G1, I am sure that there are pleanty of people who would buy MP figures from other lines aside from G1, and I could think of no better place to start than the Beast era, Beast Megs, Primal, Dinobot, how could you say no to them?

 

I think it'll be a while before we see a new mold for the MPs. So probably repaints of Starscream.

 

The next new mold (if there will be one at all) will probably be an autobot, but I doubt it will be an Earth automobile. I vote either Grimlock, Rodimus Prime, or Starsaber (which would be compatible with an eventual Victory Leo).
