Anyone know what the next masterpiece figure is going to be?
or what would you like to see as the next masterpiece figure?
or are they going to make anymore?

 

more than likely recolored mp-03 starscream either as Thundercracker or skywarp, or even as anime colors

 

After Megs comes out, we really have no idea to whome will be made. I'm hoping for another new mold, and it would be awesome to see another Autobot. If I were to make the decision, I would make a MP Cosmos. He may not be all that important compared to the others, but he's still pretty awesome. Peace out.

 

We don't know about any potential MPs after Megatron. I'd say, however, that it's a safe bet we'll get a recolor of Starscream at some point, be it as cartoon accurate Screamer or one of the other Seekers.

I have thought that Takaratomy would repaint Megatron and call him Galvatron.

 

How would that make any sense whatsoever? The only thing those two characters have in common is an arm canon. Other than that, they are completely different design styles, molds & transforms. Galvatron was a ground mounted canon - not a handheld pistol. It's like saying Astrotrain should be repainted into Blitzwing becuase they're both triple-changers.

I'm not picking on you or anything - I just don't understand how or why anyone (there have been several people that have 'suggested' this) think it makes any sense. Just because they repainted MP Prime into a sorry dwindled down version of Ultra Magnus?

 

Actually Galvatron was both a ground mounted Cannon and a Pistol. He just never changed into his pistol form on the show. He was however a triple changer. I do agree with you though, it would be simply stupid to repaint Megs into Galvy.

For the newer fans, the recent TF series have made it natural for Megatron to get a repaint and be called Galvatron afterwards. Thats the only reason I can think of why someone would suggest repainting Megatron. I prefer to keep Galvatron different from Megatron, and unique molds should be good enough.  

My pick for the next new MP mold, Master Piece Grimlock.   Hopefully the inserts with MP Megatron comes with some sort of hint on what the next MP will be.

I also think Masterpiece Combiners would be cool, freaking expensive, but cool.

I have heard something about Hasbro wanting to do a Masterpiece Grimlock (which would rawk, btw), but I could just be talking out of my ass.

 

#1 Rodimus Prime,
#2 Grimlock,
#3 Skyfire/Jetfire.

They are the only logical NEW molds from G1.

These are more likely....(due to mold milking)
Anime Starscream,
Skywarp,
and Thundercracker (Even though I want him first)

If a Rodimus Prime is done then Galvatron could be next. (Good guys always sell more)

 

I wouldn't mind another realistic military vechicle/hardware figure, whoever it may be.

 

Why not a Masterpiece IRON HIDE or Bumblebee? or Whatabout Soundwave?

 

ironhide would be pretty cool. i understand why people don't like the mp starscream. g1 was my favorite and i haven't been into any of the other cartoons at all really. but i really enjoy the colors on the starscream, not just cause they're more "realistic" but just because i think the darker color fits his character better. but if they made one with the classic colors i'd still be happy with it and buy it as well.
i'd also really like to see springer, i think that'd be awesome if they could pull off a really nice true to the cartoon mold of him.
