I just saw the pics via that link.
no thanks, that toy looks horrid in both modes.
what exactly is that alt mode suspose to be. it looks like those barbarian type vechicle wooden catapult't that launch rocks at a invading castle/army.
Anyways I had & broke a jizaitoys Cyclonus. the toy was so brittle & loose it literally broke in my hands. and i'm extremly carefully with my TF toys.
Sorry but no , that is an epic fail.
I like it. I don't know if I will be able to afford it, but I definitely would rather have something like this than one of their other offerings. Hasbro can't seem to put a proper G1 Arcee on shelves (though the animated one is great, it isn't quite what I have been waiting years to buy). So I can't imagine a character like this would ever have a chance of being released.
It is obscure and unlikely that it will be made pointless by an official release. So it is good with me.
That's obviously an early draft/proto. Jizaitoys finals are usually way better looking than the first drafts.
What the fu-
To me it looks like a woman bending over in an extremely painful position...
You know what? I actually kinda like it. I don't get why people say it's a chair or ancient battle catapult or something. Are you unfamiliar with Moonracer's alt mode?
Coz to me it looks pretty darn good, barring the arms being obvious. That said, i won't get one, god knows there prices are insane.
It's a prototype. I think it looks pretty good, I was watching tha episode last night when I went to bed. But I want to know when that Ironhide they have there will be available
Will wait for final product.
I would say I was excited for this if I also wasn't sure that Moonracer would end up costing at least one mortgage payment. T_T
Cool. Now we know a Hasbro Moonracer will be showing up anytime soon. Because Hasbro loves to trash Jizai's work by releasing the same characters he's been working on for the past 5 years or so (Cyclonus, Octane, Ironhide, Wheelie, Powerglide).
No she won't, because she's never going to be sold. Jizaitoys has become notorious for never seeing his projects through to the end. After Wheelie and Cyclonus, none of his custom Transformers were made available to consumers. Octane? Never got past the prototype stage. Powerglide? Never went on sale. Ironhide? Abandonned on the drawing board. Jizaitoys has a whole stash of other transforming figures that are left as grey, unpolished resins. What makes you think that Moonracer will be any different?
I've seen plenty of Powerglide auctions on Ebay from pomponnet though (I think that's the seller's ID).
Last I heard, Jizaitoys intended to sell Powerglide at Wonderfest, but he was snowed in and the toys were shelved.
The mold is out there, ask around, people have bought it and commented on it. Not sure if it's the real one or a KO. It was sold with a regular or metallic finish like Wheelie and Cyclonus.
anybody notice the frog transformer in the mini gallery in the corner?clever use of alt mode....."detail"
I love all the little bots in the mini-gallery, those are pretty clever. I mean who wouldn't want a Little Red Riding Hood who transforms into the Big bad Wolf???
I am unfamiliar with where these toys sell from. From previous posts in this thread it soundds like at Cons, etc. Is any of this guys work available at online retail? Since I can't translate the page I thought I would ask.
Yes I know all about the frog and its eyes.
This, I'll believe it if it happens. Still waiting on the Octane and Ironhide / Ratchet from a couple of years ago to materialise.
Jizai Toys tend to sell exclusively at the Winter Wonder Festivals. Wheelie and Cyclonus in 2007, Wheelie and Powerglide in 2008. I'm not aware of any other actual releases from them though.
