Transformers Timeline Just Might Reveal the Next Two Transformers Games Kotaku seems to be jumping the gun here, but it looks like they have mapped out specific points in time in which the next games *may* happen (if they are indeed coming). Hints are just hints, but if FoC does well, perhaps we'll see some of this stuff happen. Bonus points if anyone can translate the cybertronian text...
It's a different image, but the text is the same as this thing: The Transformers Timeline According to High Moon Studios - Transformers News - TFW2005 Does seem to imply if they get to make a third, it'll cover the adventures had on the journey to Earth.
I do wish FoC every success but feel free to call me a bitter old git as I refuse to buy a console so cannot contribute to ensuring we get a sequel. Activision can stuff it up their exhaust with their console only endeavours.
Am I the only non video game player who wishes these Transformer iterations were carried over into either movies and or cartoon media as well? I feel like I miss out on some really cool stuff sometimes- the recent Batman video game series, Tformers Cybertron games- because they are games and storylines you have to literally carve out time to sit down and play. I know my ranting isn't going to change anything, but this frustrates me to no end. It's a video game centric world with iterations like these it seems and unfortunately I feel...well...left out.
Timeline / 3rd Game Has anybody seen this timeline yet? I thought it was pretty cool and one could take a guess that there will be a game after Fall of Cybertron. Fall of Cybertron Timeline - Warpzoned D'oh sorry didn't see the post earlier!
Oh, there probably will at least be a third game, and I wouldn't be surprised if more games were to follow. Perhaps the third game will take place on Velocitron and Junkion. Kinda like in Exiles. Actually, wasn't there video game concept art a while back for what looked like Junkion landscapes? I think it was apparently for the DOTM game or something, but who knows.
I thought that too (what the original post is alluding to) when I first saw that picture—makes sense—but I guess we'll all have to wait and see what happens. I wouldn't mind more Transformers games myself, but a prequel sounds pretty boring, no? I can't help but think of Star Wars Episode One, the Senate hearings being much of the story, though with the High Council Megatron and Orion discussing this or that and the corruption that led up to the war.
To be honest...I am very concerned about how they would handle an Earth-based game. With human interaction inevitable, it's gotta be done in a very precise manner. I have been trying to think of how it can be pulled off, and retain quality.
