I'm asking my fellow "TFW2005ers" out there who are able to attend future conventions to ask Hasbro a simple question.

Is there any future plans to do anymore repaint/retools of the RTS/Generations Junkion mold?

I'm sure there are alot of us who would like to have the opportunity at a retail-released Junkion army or even a repaint of the Scrapheap mold for that matter.

If Hasbro can do so many regular-release repaints of the seeker mold among others (Classics Starscream, Skywarp, Ramjet, Universe Starscream, Acid Storm, Generations Thrust, Dirge, Thundercracker) Then the same can and should be done with the Junkion mold as well.

yeah this is such an epic easy thing to do...that is why hasbro will not.

they will use the same lame ass excuse as the one given when asked about making and releasing the rainmaker seekers for retail sale....

too much saturation of the same character / mold on retail pegs.

I want a Scrap Heap repainted into Road Pig, and a Hooligan to ride him.

If this makes it into the Botcon set for 2012, my wallet is screwed.

A Junkion army-builder attendee set (3-pack) has been rumoured.

I believe that Takara will bring out another repaint before Hasbro.

You guys really want Junkions making up a significant fraction of the next Generations/whatever assortment?

    Of all things, JUNKIONS?

There are three of them floating around now, four if you count United Wreck-Gar (and one certainly can if one or the other Wreck-Gar is in bike mode and the head is covered). And there is a garage kit for making repeat Junkions into different ones. If you are really that much of a Junkion enthusiast, you are swimming in options.

I got Wreck-Gar and Junkheap for him to ride, both at retail. Believe it or not, I'm done. Spamming this mold ad nauseam would be tiresome IMO.

A BotCon set actually makes more sense, it's there for the enthusiasts. Cause at this point that's who's buying.

I doubt we'll see another repaint at retail - I felt like the last wave of Generations was just Hasbro tossing a bone to older collectors as they occasionally do, so I don't see any commercial reason to give that mould another outing as they'd have to make up another new character, and as the movie line has demonstrated, character counts for a lot in marketing. I've got one each of Wreck-Gar and Junkheap, and I'm happy to leave it at that.

I don't have any of the junkions but plan on picking them up. With only 3 being available (1 of them I have no idea where to pick up) I'd love to see more.

I think BotCon or Takara is the next place we'll see another Junkion.

I didn't expect to feel so strongly about this, but honestly it's a little silly when fans ask Hasbro "please sell me the same thing again!" It's hard to even argue that they all have different personalities a la the Seekers.

I will say that Junkheap is quite pretty (though Wreck-Gar is, well, a wreck thanks to that terrible plastic). If they want to throw Scrapheap into a four-bot wave, sure, I'll bite, and it's not asking much since it's already made. More Junkions, plural? More retools? Count me out. Oh yeah, and Hound-into-Detritus, which is definitely not shoehorning...

No one asked for Hasbro to clog up the next waves with Junkions per se.

There's nothing wrong with throwing in another Junkion repaint/retool here and there the same way they did with the seekers.

We all clamored for repaints/retools of the seekers to complete our collections and some of us see the same opportunity with the Junkions as well.

No one is saying "ZOMG give me an entire 5 figure wave of Junkions in the next line!!"

How do you ever complete the Junkions? :p

Where does the madness end? ;)

Frankly I think the Seeker craze is a bit mad as well, if that helps you get my perspective.

I don't even like the Wreck-Gar mold at all... Between breaking the handlebar while transforming him and the fact that he's a pain in the ass to get into bike mode, I just can't make myself like the mold... I only bought Junkheap out of completeness...

If they do it in Cy-Kill colors (RWB) and use the Scrapheap head, I'd be all over a new Junkion. Just using the Scrapheap head, I'd probably get it. But I am getting a bit bored with the "natural" Junkion color schemes.

We all need more repaints of repaints of second-string obscure characters.

It's an obvious choice. Of all the molds and ideas floating about, that is the most logical.
