Hmm, I think I would like to see more of this Leader Blackout prototype before I pass any judgment as to whether or not he's worth getting.

Just because they used a picture of a custom, doesn't mean they don't plan on making one. As someone mentioned, this may just be what they want to base theirs off of. I will admit though, they need to do Blackout justice and make the figure properly. I would rather wait a few months and have an accurate and well made figure, rather than a piece of junk. As for price, I'll pay anything ^_^

The one thing bugging me about the picture are his legs. It feels they need to be a bit bulkier to counter the weight of his upper-body.

I will admit I got a tinge of excitement seeing this (if anyone was at Botcon 2008, I was the guy at the mike who asked if a LC Blackout would be in the works).

Even now, if there was a decent Leader-Class Blackout or Bonecrusher, I'd probably jump at the chance. I mean, admit it: who doesn't have a Movie LC Optimus, and wishes there was a Bonecrusher big enough to tackle him?

Unfortunately, that's not terribly likely, as these things are incredibly expensive to produce, and G1-inspired products, with its far larger fanbase, offers greater potential for making their money back.
