Well, I just got this e-mail from the Transformers Collectors Club Store from Angie, as I pre-ordered these through the collector club.

Take it for what it's worth, I guess.

These items have been split into different waves and are also shipping at later dates per Hasbro(roughly May 2009). Due to this we are currently canceling and we will issue credits on the current pre-orders placed. We will put these items back to the website site as soon as we get new released confirmed information on how these are to be sold. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you."

Well, at least it sounds like these two might not be cancelled. Delayed is better than cancelled any day.

not sure about the soundwave, as I had have issues buying a toy just for the acessory but i'm hoping Arcee comes out.

 

So...these are possibly that last toys in animated...and they're being pushed to may...which is when movie toys hit? Either they're banking on the re-start of the movie craze to get the two toys to sell, or Hasbro REALLY wants to kill this line, as retailers are going to want to stock only movie and in some cases those universe exclusives.

At least I got the first run Soundwave, although I REALLY want a keytar ratbat.

Good to see some official confirmation that they still might be released. I, for one, have been waiting about 23 years for an official Arcee that transforms into a car.

Plus, Soundwave (Soundblaster) and keytar Ratbat? Must have!

I would think Universe would make more sense at this point. But they have until May, so who knows?

 

Sure sounds like I was right. They're spreading Animated out through Universe.
