That one pic of Starscream looks slightly remolded or something... and the rear stabilizers are in a different place????

    Yeah baby!

The Gunbuster and Ideon look SWEET.

All those including MP Starscream make me a VERY poor TFW'er.

Looking again at Starscream, the legs are different, the arms are different the "crotch" is differerent... and I'm not really feeling the kibble on his hips.

There seams to be two different Starscreams? The robot mode pic at the top is definitely different from the ones we have seen before. The robot pick at the bottom is the same as we have seen. I like the way the upper version looks like. Makes him look less blocky.

    Edit-

After looking at that new robot mode, theres alot of differences. Even the guns on his arms are different.

damn, they've done something to Starscream. Interesting...

Leg kibble is now waist kibble.

That rear landing gear still sucks, but hey, I'm still getting two ( I think)

Could this be the revised Starscream design? I'm sure there was some mention of the designer going back to the original design to make some recommended changes... Though I'd assumed he'd made these changes before the actual prototype was made.

I'm just waiting for a comparison pic between MP03 and MP01... And pictures of Primes new trailer.

    Steve.

As far as I can read the article, Shoji Kawamori suggested a few alteration to MP-3 and they changed the model accordingly.

The pictures below is "before" and the ones on top are "after".
There are also additional fuel tanks (I think) added and the figure comes with a stand.

Personally I'm exstatic about Strikedog and Microman Ypsilon, but damn they are going to be even more expensive than Scopedog & Chirico :(

    THE PLIERS!

Man, it's getting harder to hold off on CM's GGG stuff. >.<

Starscream's undercarriage is looking nicer than expected, too.

I see what they did... they "puffed" the sides to make it look more like a real jet, and to keep it from looking bad on the legs they redid the design to make it kibble on the hips instead of making his legs puffy with tailfins. It's more obvious at the front of the jet's body, you can see the part they added behind Starscream's shoulders in robot mode. Not liking it, really, but everything they've done looks like it can be changed to keep a clean G1 animation look. And it does have some improvements, I like the guns better and the sleeker midsection, but the added parts gives his robot mode a wider wing span which looks much better I think.

Wow, I'm feeling all kinds of mixed emotions about Starscream...

I love the redesigned null lasers, the forearms make him look bulkier. The legs are more show accurate and the jet totally looks like a genuine F-15 now.

But that hip kibble.... GAH! Why? It looks kinda cool and would definitely work well for a non-G1 seeker character. It worked well for Energon Mirage and this is along the same lines. However, this is a really big change for a G1 icon such as Starscream.

I don't know if I love it or not.

I like it all the changes except for the waist kibble. It takes away from the "masterpiece" feel of it, being it goes way off the Seeker model. Now if the kibble could come off and be attached to the legs, or just plain removable.... all would be oil cake.

The article says those parts are altered so that they "can be moved to the waist". So I assume they are removable?
