My name is kenny... and I'm a transformers addict...

I'm 27 now... but have had transformers in my life since..... 1985?

I used to have a huge collection.. but gave them away believe it or not! I really really really wish I'd put them in the attic! But no.. gave them to local kids..doh even had 99% of the uk comics too  

First ever transformers were Rachet and Hoist..

I started collecting again about 2 years ago - when the G1 reissues came out - unfortunately I had to sell them due to finances...but I've always had a passion for them.

I came accross this site a while ago - I have been lurking and checking out the collections and kitbashes! Excellent stuff...and I decided to start another collection ... one I will keep!

I have started with a reissue Soundwave with ravage and laserbeak... and I think I have a air-raid knocking about somewhere too.

Then I hit ebay.... and this has a small story to it..

When I was 7, the local John Menzies (basically books toys and newpapers etc store) was running a competition... for a G1 fortress maximus... I must have entered the draw a 1000 times... but I never won... and I've always been gutted about it..

I was browsing the G1 toys on ebay... came accross an incomplete fort max... and I think it was listed wrong or something - end of the story is I won it.. and now scouring the Net for the missing parts...

I've not taken delivery yet but I can't wait!

So thats my story... I'm a 27 year old man who could probably name any G1 transformer and I know the movie word for word... sad maybe - but hey I'd rather be addicted to this than drugs or alcohol!
