Oh boy, just what we need, another 1980's cartoon version Bumblebee. Thank goodness companies like Perfect Effect exist to put out an awesome version of Dragon Megatron or GCreations awesome Optimus Prime and Prowl (who I hope gets a repaint into Smokescreen and Bluestreak)

I don’t even like Bumblebee, but I might have to get this just out of awe for how tiny he is!

That, and to show New Age that they should keep this up.

But, Glyph and Wasp would be must have color decos for me, as well, @Robogeek28.

    Still, even if there isn’t a Simone Weil minifig packin, for example, then New Age should distance and distinguish themselves from the pack with Rung and Froid figures! =}

Cool someone finally made decent small size Bee though not a huge fan of his tubby bot look. Maybe he'll soften in colour.

This bee looks pretty nice. Love the proportions- too many small Bees have an elongiated torso that I'm not crazy about.

The tire on MP Bee stores under the front of the car, just like on a real VW. But everybody in the world displays that toy incorrectly and stores the tire on the back of the car. No VW Bug anywhere, including toy/animation Bee, ever had a spare tire back there. It's just people screwing up the tire storage on MP Bee.

I think he has to be the smallest transformer ever with a swapable face (I think I can see where you'd take it off)

So there's a chance for a toy-accurate face option? SOLD!

I'd love a Glyph and Stinger from this guy, and with a little remolding, Goldbug.

And then once they get their money's worth from this mold, they can move on to Cliffjumper (new mold resembling a Porsche, please!).

I’m glad I have ImpossibleToys Wasper, even if it seems like his feet are on the verge of breaking, and I also managed to lose his wee little pistol.

But, the proportions on those MiniBots didn’t seem as right as this seems, @Cha Chi.

And, I could probably get over the lack of face mask, but that would really help sell this guy for me. Though, I’m not sure if the seam lines on his face are a sign of swappable faces or just something from assembling the head.

But, I’m fine with unscrewing some swappable heads like Iron Factory’s Jetfire (Cygnus).

G1 Toy Bumblebee - the back of the head is the spare tire... albeit, a sticker.

I honestly have no idea what that sticker is supposed to be. It certainly doesn't look like a tire! The round bump that became the "tire" on the animation model is simply a raised area in on the underside of the car on the G1 toy.

...i always thought it looked a bit like a life preserver, but it’s probably meant to be a spinning crank pulley...

Well, BB's original toy was not supposed to represent a real Beetle. It was supposed to represent those old Penny Racer toys so that was supposed to be the clip that held a penny that weighted the back of the car down for hot wheelie action.

I think the sticker was sort of supposed to look like an old VW custom turbo fan or something.

EDIT: You know, I dig this but...I really kinda wish some 3rd Party company would make a Beetle BB in Legends scale AND style. Like as if Hasbro did it and had like, 5mm hand ports and appropriate weapons and engineering style so it fit in with the Hasbro stuff. a VW BB and Goldbug and a new Warpath, Huffer and Pipes that are more like their G1 versions but with Hasbro/Takara engineering style so they fit in, yeah I'd buy all of that. Seems nobody wanted theirs to fit in with anything but their own line. *shrugs*
