To be honest I'm hoping some of the later g1 characters are getting worked on like MS doing Sixshot to scale with their Ultra Magnus as Tengu is too small or possibly the comic characters like Bludgeon and Thunderwing but since they are pretenders and it would be odd to do I guess I'd have to go with Iron Factory if they make IDW versions. Also Battle Damaged Megatron is still listed everywhere on preorder is he still a thing or was he just a prank that hasn't gone yet

 

Exactly! I mean I knew in theory that this guy was little, but this picture really drove it home for me.

Makes the price tag sting a little bit though, especially with no jetpack. But oh well. I think I'll survive somehow.

I've like the variety of early, later and new characters that 3p companies have put out. I have most of my favorite S3 characters in legends form at this point. I prefer Iron Factory making the later characters mostly because that is how I am most familiar with those characters.There are exceptions where I disliked IDW's treatment of a character (Getaway, Throttlebots, Omnibots) or they never really used them period (Siren, Punch). MS seems more than willing to revisit characters that other companies have released so maybe you will see a Sixshot from them.

Yeah, I'm not thrilled it's an exclusive to the repaints. But it doesn't ruin the toy for me. I'll look at Goldbug if he pops up on a NA retailer's site. But the final colors and shoulders are not really blowing me away. Just not sure I like it enough for the jetpack.

Yeah the pricing on this guy is all over the place. Nobody seems to have a "killer deal." Personally I'm going to wait this one out, he's just a tad on the small side for my wants.

 

If MS toys and Iron Factory would hurry up that wouldn't be an issue haha

Buying all three of these guys will run you 80$ at least... I've seen people complain over less.

They should be doing deals such as buy the two variations get the flipper free.

 

It's interesting to note, TFSource lists the Jetpack as included with Flipper (Bumblebee).

Do we have any reason to expect it to not be included with him, other than that picture that only showed it with the other two versions?

Or, is TFSource' info just out of date (they don't even have the name Flipper up there yet)..

BBTS lists the jetpack also. They also show he's sold out so he must be in now or at least very soon.
