I keep hearing that WalMart has Titan Return Deluxe figures on clearance for $5 or something like that but I have yet to see any in my area. The Monroe WalMart had them on "clearance" for $14.
There are two Targets on Staten Island worth checking, but Brickseek has been totally unreliable for them. I just got Optimus and Rodimus from a Target Brickseek has said has been out of stock for the past week. Right now Brickseek is showing the other Target as "limited stock".
If anyone is looking for cogman, there is a seller on eBay $16.99. I bought one, if it’s legit I’ll let you guys know.
Hey NY gang. I know there’s a separate thread that has a link of Toys R Us closings, but here’s the list of NY stores scheduled to close in 2018: Yonkers Middle Village Westbury College Point Union Square Sayville Massapequa Kingston Glens Falls Latham Greece Henrietta Amherst
I saw this this morning. I'm mostly unaffected. There's on in NJ that my friend lives near that is closing, and when I say lives near I mean it's damn near his back yard. I wonder if the stores that are closing will do clearance sales or if they will just shift the merchandise to another store? Seems to me like they need all the money they can get so I would assume they would shift everything to a nearby store. But I'm no market analyst. I could be wrong.
Sad, anywhere that had an old, expensive lease is being closed. No more TRU in the Rochester area. Buffalo will keep 2 (Orchard Park and Transit), Albany will keep 2 (Colonie and Clifton Park) and Syracuse will keep 1 (ring road of dying Great Northern Mall) Check out this article from the Democrat & Chronicle: Toys R Us lists Greece, Henrietta on closure list Toys R Us lists Greece, Henrietta on closure list

Update: Rochester will keep its Henrietta store, the Babies R Us in Henrietta will close. Toys "R" Us lists closings, 2 stores in ROC area
So Nassau / Suffolk is closing it’s 4 highest stores and keeping the trash open. That don’t seem like smart business even if the overhead is higher.
Nah, read the article, they are closing only the BRU's at the popular Long Island locations. I believe only commack is closing both BRU/TRU. But, you have Lake Grove not too far away. So I see why they did that. Lake Grove probably makes way more and that made Commack look bad.
Some of those places are only closing the BRUs. The Sayville BRU is closing but the Holtsville TRU across the street will remain open. Massapequa and Westbury is BRU only closing. You have to look to the side it tells you if both or 1 store is closing. They are turning side by sides into TRUs.
Actually Commack surprisely makes more than lake grove and sayville. I was shocked when the manager told me. Bayshore is at the bottom
