So my wife an I are looking to head to New York to check out the Comicon and I was hopping those that have been could clue me in to how Transformer friendly the con is. Are there usually many dealers selling the delicious plastic crack?

I can't really answer this, but I will try as best I can. Comic Con isn't mainly transformers but you will find japanese transformers, probably newer stuff like Masterpeice, Henkei and Encore. Overpriced stuff that we have for retail in the states too. You'll probably find some old stuff like RID and maybe some Beast Wars.

I've hosted a few NYC Transformers Meetup, through meetup.com, but the turnouts were so low, I stopped doing them. If any TF Fans wanna go to comic con, shoot me a txt @ [email protected]. I wasn't planning on going, but who knows, if a large enuf group goes, I might be interested.

I'll be there starting tomorrow for setup and through the weekend. Should be a good time. I have a list of stuff to do and people to see. Hope I get it all done this time.

my friend has a dealer booth. Heroes in Action

best part of helping out is that i get to go to the Diamond Retailer Breakfast. Tons of free stuff. Went a few years back and got incentive covers of both JLA 1 and that Stephen King comic. Also the diamond Picard figure, a Ghost Rider figure, Batman Begins bust, the Hellboy animated DVD, and other junk. It was worth like $300.
