Ya,that's what I'm talking about. I'm hoping by some crazy chance they will change that for the retail release. At least if there were a pair that even matched themselves. Two of one colour and two of another, or something. Heck make them black for all I care, I just don't want an Abominus with two different coloured fists, it'll look pretty bad, imo. Ideally, they would match the feet, but if there were two that matched Cutthroat's hand accessory, that would be close enough.

Wow is this gonna be it. No news on mpm barricade or the movie line. Or even pics of that elita 1 retool. Them trying reveal stuff at there own pace is like trying to cover a hole in a wall with a poster thats like half the size of the hole. Hasbro should have took an L and showed pics of the movie line. Especially mpm barricade. I have hope that he won't be as half-assed as Bumblebee or dis proportionate like prime

Yeah, that Power Core Combiner Grimestone and FOC Fruiticus actually give it competition.

I'm only buying the four Dinobot limbs and Legends Slash since I have no plans on ever combining it.

The way I see it, Volcanicus is a very divisive combiner. The aesthetic is either right up your alley or a complete miss. It's not a badly designed toy, but more a specifically designed one.

Now if only Hasbro would turn the elbows around properly...

They showed Grotusque at the panel, it went up on HTS at the same time, lasted 2-3 hours before selling out. At the panel they did say it would hit general retail in about a month, just like Arcee, which we are all taking to mean most likely TRU.

So Dinobot combiner is growing on me. Yes, it looks odd... but I am coming to like that because they are giant robots and thus don\'t have to all have the same proportions. Do I wish his arms were closer to his chest? Yeah, but it isn\'t a dealbreaker.

Ooooohhh, now I see what you're talking about, my bad.

I think the angle they're going for with the color-matched HFG things is for a greater appearance of part integration. I'm indifferent on the matter but I can see why that's a problem.

All I can suggest is keep an eye on Takara, since they have to be doing their own version eventually and may do what you're asking for.

All that shows is that the movie stuff isn't going to be coming out anytime soon. I'd be surprised if the Terrorcons weren't out by Christmas.

the movie crap probably got rolled into the Movie BB toyline if there is one.

Considering that its Generations that's getting the spotlight I wonder what Hasbro sees as more important...

Especially considering what 'crap' is keeping the line afloat right now, because I can guarantee you it isn't the movie toys shelf and pegwarming since last summer.

clearly, what hasbro and other toy companies need to do is promote their damn toys with commercials. Because kids nowadays are to busy with there vidya gaems and phones to know who the fuck barricade or six shot is. At this day and age. Companies should start pandering to us older kids and adults and put more effort in their toys

Takara may be an option. I'll certainly keep an eye for their version.

If, in fact, the retail release is per the what they showed here, for my own sake, I may just have to buy two Cutthroats so I can use the extra fist. I don't think I have OCD in daily life but cases like this make me think I might, lol.

Either way, I am, so far, quite happy with the Terrorcons overall and am looking forward to seeing what Abominus looks like fully combined.

Just sayin'. If you take a stroll here in Portland then EVERY store is chock full of Wave 1 TLK deluxes and voyagers that no one is buying.

This ain't a fight but I'm not going to say there isn't a level of movie fatigue going on. Wave 1 didn't move enough or fast enough for most stores to care about. Even TLK Leaders are shelf warming, if stores are even willing to stock them around here. Granted what happens in Portland isn't what happens in the rest of the USA but at least here no one cares about movie stuff. While we're also pretty stock full of Wave 2 deluxes for Titans Return, many of us in town aren't having a hard time finding Twin Twist, Widnblade or Misfire. TR is moving faster and more consistently here.

I'm going to go on a limb and say that this IS a trend. Since CW Hasbro has stated in investor and interviews that Generations has been selling like hotcakes. I'm sure Hasbro knows what they're doing and they're going with what works and what sells. Last convention of the year and I'm not surprised that they're pushing what will get the most hype in the coming year.

Thats only bc hasbro chose a bunch of repaints for wave 1. If it had new molds in wave 1 we would be on wave 3 rn.

While that may be true, Barricade and Berserker are shelf warming too. Wave 1 would've certainly moved faster if it had new molds in it I think, but nevertheless stores overordered on the wave in anticipation of demand...and again, at least here, the demand isn't here. Even if there were more new molds in Wave 1 than what we got, I don't think much would've changed. People seem to be tired of Bay for the most part.

Sure they posted wave 2 for spring 2018, but they won't confirm wave 1 release.

Yeah, but like I said, the wording needs some work. I voted "no" but only because I wouldn't buy movie figures if they were in the Generations line. Almost anything else I would, if it was interesting.
