Haha that's what most people do, and the main reason why few people accomplish what I am attempting to do simply because they chose not to start in the first place. Every result starts from a choice, and every choice comes with a pricetag attached. And no I do not have that money for the machine, its bought through a loan. Would love to see your models. Who knows I can do them for you? :D

Yea please do show me when you have the pics. Its always a joy to see what others are doing and learn from them. Which model is the one that your uni uses?

Just a mini update on the first "few" parts before I clean them up and test assembly

Man, I am jealous. I should learn how to use Solidworks.

I'm pretty handy at AutoCAD, is it more difficult to use? I assume you have used both.

I know nuts about CAD. Tried to learn it but just couldn't. I'm using maya for everything, then when the parts are reasy I export over as obj file and uses Iron Cad to convert to stl coz the program for the machine only recognises stl and a few other file types.

Well its been a long way back since I first made custom toys and an even longer way ahead to where I want to end up in. This is only the beginning of even harder challenges to come. I'm sure you all can see how simple the transformation for this version of Prime is, and I already took almost a full month to model everything and there are still bugs that I gotta solve by hand.
