I know theres quite a few Wilco fans here, so I'd thought I'd let them know that if you head over to their website you can download "What Light" from their forthcoming new album, Sky Blue Sky. www.Wilcoworld.net or just check out my myspace page.
When they said they were going for a sound like that on "Being There" they weren't kidding. This new lineup of Wilco are such great musicians that it really shows in their songwriting. And I think its fair to say that Tweedy is going to be as revered as Bob Dylan or Neil Young. Listening to the track reminds me so much of Dylan's "Blood On The Tracks"

yeah it does share a bunch of qualities with AM. I just found a torrent for the album and listened to it and I absolutely love it. I think its a better album than Ghost Is Born. Its his most soulful record to date, a lot of 70's rock and soul influence on the record.

Hey now that you've listened to it, its fucking awesome right? Man I'm loving the guitar work on it. Nels Cline is God. Oh and are you feeling Paul McCartney vibes on this record? When I listen to Hate It Here I think its the best McCartney song that he never wrote, like its dead on.

And the keyword there its the best song he never wrote, which just means it sounds like someone set out to write a McCartney type song and it came out very well. I didn't say its the best McCartney song, lol that doesn't make sense, we all know McCartney wrote better songs.

Maxwell's Silver Hammer is better anyway
