GAH, Lugnut's bio is there, hidden in shadow... someone over there take pictures of it already!

*dying to know if it actually mentions the P.O.K.E., especially given the figure's action features*

It won't mention it directly just like animated didn't.
This is a kids toy and the 'K' in 'POKE' is kill.
The 'POKE' was not created by hasbro or takara/tomy.
Won't be used by name anyways.

Yeah? There was a time when Hong Kong tended to get new stuff first all the time.

Strafe looks absolutely delicious in the packaging. And looks like the first release of Starscream will have the white face. Maybe that painted one will come in a later wave.

The show didn't mention it, no, but the comics and the Allspark Almanac did, which had to be approved by Hasbro (hence its canonization). So still hopeful. I mean, if they can name a TF "Deadlift"....

^ A "deadlift" is a weightlifting maneuver, not a reference to dead things/people. Makes sense for a forklift.

We've had "Dead End" and "Overkill" for years, too. But those terms aren't necessarily related to death, either. "Kill Everything" is a bit more blatant. I can't see them using it on a toy package. I wouldn't put it past them for the word "poke" to appear somewhere in the bio in another context, though. :)

Dangit, up until yesterday, I REALLY thought I had a pretty substantial vocabulary. Guess I still need to learn some terms.

Anyways, "kill" was used in Season 3 of Animated, remember. And we'll see. But don't kill my hope before the bio is posted, y'hear?
